When I was a kid, I'd be the first one on this ride. Now? Well, now I'm content in just taking a picture of it! Haha.

Candid eye contact street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. I just loved the look of these two women in their orange scarves and matching jackets after being handed some free samples on the street. Enjoy!

There was a stool holding her up. And i composited in a different face.
Yay, another conceptual. But this one has a story behind it! Krisha hit me up on Thursday and asked me if we could hang out on friday or go on a date or something. And i said, "Yo babe, wanna run on some walls in a hotel hallway or something". I was thinking of the zero gravity fight scene in Inception, i guess that was the main inspiration for this conceptual. So i picked her up, and we put together her outfit. Something interesting, and originally went with the color palette. We got to the hotel, and we just walked in there like we knew what we were doing. Nobody bugged us, we went up to the last floor, found a spot we dug and got to work. For this shot i had krisha lay back down on a stool, then masked out the stool. Ill post the Before/After below. She nailed the pose after a few times then we went about the rest of our friday night with dinner and ice cream. I got home at about 9 or so and began editing. This was no doubt the worst few hours of my photography career. lol. I sat down and just couldnt stitch the image. This shot including compositing was like 10 images. Or at least it was planned to be. Because of the distortion on the 50mm i couldnt properly stitch the walls together, it was so damn frustrating. I couldnt align shit. Something would always be off. And no amount of skewing and rotating would fix it. I was so angry at myself for not using a telephoto lens. But at the time it seemed smart because i was short on room in the hallway. After a few hours of very stressful editing i gave up. I sent my girlfriend some very agitating texts about how her efforts were futile. Even Krisha was sad. It wasnt a good night for me. Then after a few more hours i was able to stitch this, it took a lot of masking, and i wasnt even really that happy with it initially until i gave it this composition. Originally it had a straight centered comp as opposed to this subject off the to left tilted composition. I then began processing. The image was much to warm, and then i made a black and white version. I had been editing for like almost 6 hours until i realized i couldnt really be a good judge of color theory because i had been staring at a single image for so long. So i had to seek help, my eyes become to accustomed. So i hit up my good friend and fellow brotographer Jack Strutz (profile shall be linked below!) He told me to ditch the BW and go with the colored one. But he told me to hold back on the yellows. Everybody should know that i really only posses the skill to edit warm. I dont know how to edit with cooler tones. So i did, then he told me, "Dude, no. Like go really cool. Im talking like eliminate the yellows completely." So then i ended up with this. Im actually really happy with it now. Its crazy how frustrated and angry i was with myself before i finished this. I wanted to quit photography, not really. But kinda haha. Sometimes i feel i set my standards to high for myself. Especially with this conceptual stuff because it really is hard, a new whole game im still not that familiar with. Either way. Im done typing. Enjoy.

Sorry for the inactivity on posting lately, i've been busy with school and really haven't had any motivation or ideas for any DC characters in awhile.
But recently i got back into Mortal Kombat too prepare for Raiden coming out as a DLC character on injustice 2, so i've had a lot of inspiration to make these MK characters recently so i'm going to stick with it for now, i plan to make some more characters, and update the 2 i've done in the past.
i thought there would be no better way to start this series than to use Sub-Zero as the first post, this costume is mostly based off of the MK3 design, my personal favorite.
This is also one of my entries to Scott Blankfield Purist Week Contest.
Let me know what you think, and enjoy!
The New 52 had it's weak points, but boy was this just a weird story from start to finish!
Now Danny Miki (the inker for a majority of the series) had some really good... and some really not so good artwork throughout this run. One of the most notable in my mind is his Zero Year apocalyptic, Frank Castle-y, “Last Of Us”-ish Batman with a dirt bike and a crossbow. To accompany all that, Scott Snyder's got the Batman out there fightin' lions and stuff, bein' an edgy son of a gun, with a weird crew cut and little purple gloves! ...uh what? ...what the heck?!
Plus I'm really not going to get into plot holes or nit pick it as much as I'd like, but I can tell you it's a pretty weird story (not in the good way) but the art (in general) is pretty cool I guess...(?)
Now I hadn't really planned on shooting anything Scott Snyder related, mostly because I've never really been blown away by his material. But when I (finally) got a hold of some new s16 CMF parts, everything just kind of came together naturally :)
I think this will be the only one I'll post here, but there are a few other images on Patreon with Mr Batman on the bike, and some shots of the build in the foreground as well :)

Sub Zero Sunrise

The thrill of catching a gorgeous winter sunrise is unmatched by the feeling of sub-zero temperatures. Once the bone chilling feeling subsided, the emotion of this moment took over, making this pre-dawn cruise worthwhile.
I was still getting over a terrible virus, and riding my bike in sub-zero temps into the wind and I thought I wasn't going to make it, but this little angel was watching over me.
Kellie, Joshua, and Heidi are busy spinning on the Zero Gravity ride in downtown Provo during the 4th of July celebration. Jackson and I watched from the ground hoping to not be sick.

You guys remember the New 52, right? Do you remember all when they released #0 issues for a bunch of their comics? Do you remember all those characters?
Yeah, I figured.
I made Talon late after thinking of him as a possibility for my big Bat Family post, but I decided to leave him out of it and make this group instead: some quickly cancelled series that got special zero issues in the New 52.
From left to right:
The Unknown Soldier from G.I. Combat #0 - cancelled after 8 total issues.
Voodoo (clone) from Voodoo #0 - cancelled after 13 total issues.
Talon from Talon #0 - cancelled after 18 total issues.
Resurrection Man from Resurrection Man #0 - cancelled after 13 total issues.
Amethyst from Sword of Sorcery #0 - cancelled after 9 total issues.
