In addition to the cool Zion Canyon cliffs I was impressed with the variety of vegetation in this composition. The monochrome image from my previous post was taken dead center of this shot. You have to really zoom in, but there's a tiny trickle of a waterfall going from the Middle Emerald Pool to the Lower Emerald Pool.

The Virgin River seems to eminate from nowhere in this image taken in The Narrows, Zion National Park, UT. I utilized various techniques to create a inpressionistic view of this scene in the canyon. To me, it reflects the variety of colors and contracsts one finds while wandering through the immense and fantastic landscape. The beauty of the Zion Narrows is unique and unmatched anywhere else on this planet.
