Mandy's Christmas gift this year was being able to shred our used wrapping paper. And shred she did. Every. Single. Piece. We're lucky if we get the paper entirely off the present before she grabs it!
It's a bit of a obsessive-compulsive disorder with her, I think. Ever since we wrapped a treat in wrapping paper when she was little, she has had an obsession with shredding paper. :-) I don't think she even remembers the biscuit anymore!
I had to get a picture of this. She is so proud of her work!
Items were just sitting on the table. With a Birthday towards the end of December this just seemed natural to me.
338/365 5 December 2011 - some wrapping done, some shopping and making still needs to be done. A little bit towards the Christmas effort each day and it'll soon be done!?
To all my flickr friends and contacts -- Happy Holidays! :D

One for the 365 treasure hunt, number 73 wrapping paper.
This is at Standen (National Trust) and on this day the house was open and all the Christmas decs are up. The house had been closed for 3 weeks whilst they decorated, and as always, it is lovely.
Merry Christmas to my Flickr Friends! I feel really behind this year, I don't have my tree up, I haven't sent out cards yet, but I do have all my shopping done, and my last thing in that regard was making gifts for my neighbors. I found a great recipe online for Peppermint Cocoa Mix made with coca powder and mini chocolate chips and crushed up peppermint candy (I used candy canes which fascinated Lark). And a few other ingredients.
It was a joyous mess in the kitchen, but we had a cup from the leftover, and I think they turned out really pretty. :)
Organic cotton sateen resuable gift wrap, made with original fabric that I designed. Perfect for small gifts such as CDs, DVDs, and jewelry boxes.
This is a sample of a kaleidoscope tessellation requested by, and created for, a friend (Gina) I met here on Flickr. She makes candy wrappers, gift wrap, bookmarks, etc., but her site is no longer online, so I'm not sure where to get her products any longer.
Only sample tiles are available for viewing since I used her original picture instead of one of my own or one from Flickr with a CC license.
