This is the best Publix I have ever been to. It's three times the size of the average store, and carries products no other location does. The condition of the store is always flawless, there isn't a speck of dust to be found anywhere. Also, every single employee is always in an extremely good mood, and they're all very eloquent. The guy who retrieved my cart from the parking lot showed me a better way to knot my bags, we got to talking and I learned he has a degree in engineering. I don't know what it is about this particular Publix, it's better than Disney World.

This is a sample of a kaleidoscope tessellation requested by, and created for, a friend (Gina) I met here on Flickr. She makes candy wrappers, gift wrap, bookmarks, etc., but her site is no longer online, so I'm not sure where to get her products any longer.

Only sample tiles are available for viewing since I used her original picture instead of one of my own or one from Flickr with a CC license.

Beautiful decorative wrapping paper at cheap price. Leave a message if you want!

we probably spent $130 or so on christmas gifts this year, vastly less than usual, for EVERYONE. and yet it still seemed like a lot. they were all happy. and the paper littered the floor.

I received a new 3D print I did. Unfortunatly some part broke during the transportation and I have to put all the wrapping paper on the floor to find the broken pieces.

Opening Sophie's Christening presents. The best presents were the wrapping paper.

I'm wrapping Christmas presents and catching up on Tivo tonight. That's my brother's present there.

I spent some time on the winter solstice wrapping Christmas presents.

I can't believe another year has flown past. It's not been a great year for us, but we're going to celebrate the awesome things in our lives, like our daughters, family and friends

I wish you all a festive season filled with joy and happiness with your families and friends.

December 11 - Name a holiday tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation in your family.

The opening of Christmas presents on Christmas Eve (as opposed to the stereotypical opening of presents on Christmas Morning) is a tradition I grew up with, and I married into a family that also is a Christmas Eve family, so this is a tradition that is continuing on with our generation.

Since I don’t have any wrapped presents to photograph yet, here’s some wrapping paper instead.
