my now finished 42009 Lego Technic Mobile Crane. complete with Motor and Battery pack.
controls are able to move the outrigers out and down, lift the crane arm, extend it, and lower the hook to pick things up.
due to the pully having a spring gear it cant lift much weight, but by switching to the boom lift control, it can do a lot more.

Québec artist Jannick Deslauriers works and lives in Montreal, where she also teaches visual arts at Cégep Marie-Victorin. Her artistic work features the reproduction of architectural elements and various objects out of fabric. These creations, often made of crinoline or silk, appear as translucent, disembodied replicas, highlighting a contrast between the subject - under consideration and its materiality.
Work Site represents, in their actual size, different elements found at a construction site. A stepladder, a drill, a hammer and a wheelbarrow are suspended in the exhibition space, as if dematerialized. Made of different translucent materials, these delicate, ephemeral sculptures make use of the characteristics of illustration, each of them being delineated in space through the presence of dark seams. Jannick Deslauriers’s works evoke the memory of objects and are presented as the remaining visible traces of a distant past. The objects’ presence is made intriguing by the evanescence of the textiles used, and evokes the notion of ghosts; this spectral aspect imbues them with a certain humanity. The fragility of the objects is at odds with the coarseness of the theme being explored. Two worlds collide: that of manual labour and that, painstakingly meticulous, of the arts and crafts.
