When your work space gets too crowded, a proper layering technic is key to continue building with out cleaning.
The soft glow of my work station. Web developer and graphic design take up most of these work stations time. I purchased the MBP recently and just love it!! when I'm not doing anything the backgrounds rotate between stars and planet wall papers. Always keeping my head in the stars.

My mom and I swap trades every now and then. I make her a letterhead and she sews me a work apron. SWEET!
I took this photo about an hour ago and they finally got the trapped victim out just a couple of minutes ago. These are Menlo Park firefighters attempting to jimmy the elevator door open to get the man trapped inside out. The elevator got stuck between the second and third floors of my building at work.
heading home from work recently, view down from Southbridge to the Cowgate at the lower part of the Old Town. This is an entire block which was destroyed by a huge fire about a decade ago. Arguments have raged since then about what sort of building would replace the old one, some architects arguing it is a rare chance for a modern building in the area, others (rightly, I think) saying there are plenty of other parts of the city where you can build a modern construction, but the heart of the historic Old Town isn't one of them.
Like many parts of the multi-level Edinburgh from the bridge you might have thought this was a two or three storey building opening onto the street but a glimpse down beneath the bridge (which is lined with buildings so many don't realise it is a bridge) and see more levels descending beneath. Edinburgh is good at playing tricks like this! The old building was home to a major Fringe venue and many artist's studios on lower levels and the university higher up, everything ruined by the fire, sadly. Improvised these quick shots on the way home from work, dark here by half past four now, jammed the camera in the railings of the bridge, angling it down and hoping it would hold it steady enough to get a couple of reasonable shots, clicked several, most useless but these three came out not too bad, considering

There is much more work to do on the new desk and of course the walls, they will soon be boarded over and clad with peg boards and retro 70's rock posters.
It is a good feeling to see something built from a rough sketch I drew some months ago.

I have had a couple of enquiries about what we do for work, so I thought I would show you.
We install internet satellite for those who cannot get broadband on the telephone line. My hubby (husband) puts the roof mount up, while I put the dish mount on the dish on the ground. Then I pass things up to him when he is ready for them. This is one we put up in Andamooka during the week.
