Peter Pan: "Are you sure there is enough brown yarn to finish my sweater?"
(ADAD 2015 November - 20: Work)
Not everybody works on the weekend. The good doctor Ewa should have known better, but what the heck, she's busy. She thought Saturday was the day for the letter J as well, so she chose "Job" as her theme for "We're Here!". Alas, eventhough I am on call this weekend and at the hospital, I was still stumped.
I do not carry a camera to work. There is just to much potential for misunderstanding and the accusation of privacy violations. My camera stays at home or the studio. But I did not want to miss out on evaxebra's day, so I used an Olympus GIF-XQ 140 to capture the four images I am holding underneath the lights of the studio. The gastroscope images were easy. The real trick was to hold the print just right so it would place a catchlight into my eyes from the overhead strobe.

My work place last night, at my kitchen table. I had my laptop with music going, and trying to browse tumblr, even though I'm capped at 256kbps at the moment (I can't believe I used to efficiently browse the internet on this speed! The internet is so much heavier these day mannn)
Anyway, laptop with music, coffee, paint brushes, pastels, box of cleaning tools and water colour pencils. I use the black and burnt sienna water colour pencils as paints by wetting the tip and rubbing them in the paint thingie I have there... I forget what you call them. I use black water colour because it's easier to get mistakes off. Then I go over it in acrylic to make it more opaque.
I use a the back of a pad of calender sheets mum got from work, I think. You can see where I blot paint XDD
Off screen are the paints I use, which are actually Chris' Warhammer paints ^^; But I'll get my own soon!
Our little son wants to drive a combine harvester when he is a man. This weekend it was allowed him to watch. Maybe dreams can come true...

I had to go to another building at work and it's one of the newer ones, very striking with lots of cool artwork and a big open atrium in the center.

Model: Sintija
From evening photo shoot with Sintija at "Swing park" www.facebook.com/supoluparks/
It was work anywhere week, so also some thematic photos.
This is last adition to my series "work", because construction of this building, where it's done, is finished. Therefore I probably won't return there anymore. I'd like to appear in one image at least, so this is me, trying to be model. As you'll notice, I'm not good photographer, but i'm worst model.
