Today i just wanted to concentrate on working on the dolls i first made Tora a new wig(sadly i fucked that a up so no pictures right now) and then i decided to work on some of Nyx tats and i have to say i love how they have turned out, it was defiantly a good idea to plan his tattoos out instead of just jumping in like i did with his sleeve i cant wait to add more to him
though i'm, slightly temped to blush his chest so i have more of a excuse not to put his top on him XD, but best not as i know i would mess it up big time.
I'm trying to find out the name of each tree that I paint. No idea what this one is, but it seems similar to Spotted Gums, except that the smother bark is a light salmon or dusty pink colour.
This architectural work of art is one the world’s largest mosques, with a capacity for an astonishing 40,000 worshippers. It features 82 domes, over a 1,000 columns, 24 carat gold gilded chandeliers and the world's largest hand knotted carpet. The main prayer hall is dominated by one of the world’s largest chandeliers –10 metres in diameter, 15 metres in height and weighing twelve tonnes. The mosque's first ceremony was the funeral of its namesake, Sheikh Zayed, who is buried at the site.
Reflective pools surround the mosque, amplifying its beauty. The striking white and gold colours shining in the sun are transformed at night by a unique lightning system which reflects the phases of the moon.
It was the year 1979 when LEGO launched one of the sets that became among the most iconic in the AFOL world: the 928 set.
The Classic Space theme was launched just a year earlier in 1978 and this set became a legend because it represented the most beautiful and largest spaceship in the entire fleet. It is incredible to think of the success that this set of only 338 pieces has had if we compare it to those on sale today, but in those days we were children who dreamed of having this box and our best memories are linked to it.
In '79 I was just 5 years old and I have never been able to have this box, too expensive for my parents, but I have always dreamed of it looking at it in the catalogs. Finally as an adult I looked for it and managed to buy it!
All this premise was used to introduce my new work: the Galaxy Explorer SDR-926! This year I am 10 years old as AFOL and I thought about making mocs that have a special meaning for me. The first of these was the desire to make a spaceship of some importance! SDR-926 wants to be a tribute to the 928 but with very different characteristics and numbers. Number 926 represents the birth of my daughter. The spaceship measures 85 x 75 x 21 cm and is made up of almost 4600 pieces! It took me 5 intense months to make it because it contains several features and functionalities in a single work.

This was the view on November 15, 2007, from the top floor of a parking garage near my office. Now that it's mid-November, sunset is well under way by the time I get off work each day. By mid-December, sunset will be over by quitting time, and most Phoenicians with normal work hours will be driving to and from work in the dark. Yucchh! My least favorite time of year.

I wore these to work on Friday - probably the most adventurous I've been at work yet - I did get a few funny looks, but mostly, nobody noticed. Amazing really!
The man himself who has made it all happen Wiggins.
There is much more work to do on the new desk and of course the walls, they will soon be boarded over and clad with peg boards and retro 70's rock posters.
It is a good feeling to see something built from a rough sketch I drew some months ago.
My mom and I swap trades every now and then. I make her a letterhead and she sews me a work apron. SWEET!
