Eastbound empty grain train G846 climbs the hump at Carvel Alberta and begins the downhill descent to Edmonton. The freight has just left the current end of double track, however in the near future the double track will be extended all the way into Edmonton.

They had an eye on the fire on the other side of the NP.

This work table seems a bit too obviously curated, but in 2016 I saw carvers who kept a table of "exhibits" for visitors to see and discuss.

Umbrella at work makes a decorative cubicle ornament. And I am guessing it's there to block some light.

A big thanks to Lynne for telling me about the butterflies.

 

These guys were not easy to capture. Leaning down over a fence in Macro mode. The wind was strong and blowing the buddleia plant something mad.

 

Between Lynne & and myself we managed to get a couple of shots of the peacock butterflies and bees that were not too bad.

It's feeling like autumn now.

a few new pictures of my sewing room.

Working from home has the perk of being able to stop frequently during a project to stretch, take some deep breaths, and relax. My employer would allow that at the office too, but I would have a level of self induced guilt if I were

to do that there.

So now, working from home I have learned to give myself the needed breaks my mind and body need.

Also, this Herman Miller Mirra 2 chair is MUCH better than what I have in the office ;)

We do get a chance to light the firework only during the festive season. These guys work with the fire everyday,A great work they do on keeping the road useable for us.
