Really didn't fancy going back into work today. By some miracle, which is almost certain not to be repeated for the rest of 2011, the train was on time.
The chap on the right is a fellow commuter who gets the same train as me every day, yet despite seeing each other every morning, it is only recently that protocol has allowed us to graduate to a nod of greeting with a hello on special occasions (eg announcement of a major delay*)
The train coming home was delayed, so back on familiar territory.

a little disappointed with the clarity...was in a rush on the way to work this morning...beautiful frosty, foggy morning
40025 in between duties at Liverpool Lime Street on Saturday 26th June 1982.
In the days when the station had a bit of character and locos could be found on the blocks of most of the sidings there.
In this case "Lusi" is standing in what I think was "B" or "C" siding, between platforms 4 & 5 and was snapped early in the morning as I headed over to Skegness for some class 20 haulage on the SO services that frequented Lincolnshire's premier seaside resort then....
The loco was withdrawn in October 1982 and scrapped at Doncaster Works in May 1985.
Sorry about bringing this one to the top but made adjustments to the grads as per a fair few comments so was wondering what people thought?
As some of you may have noticed I've not been posting as regularly as I used to, there is a number of reasons for this;
1) The new arrival takes up any spare time that is not spent at work..........Fact!
2) I've been trying to learn some PS skills under the VERY patient guidance of Mr Clegg I'm not the sort of person who learns well by reading books etc. etc. and although I have tried using YouTube to learn I'm not sure its right for me!
This is an Image taken while in Brighton on a LE workshop with the above mentioned Mr Clegg & Mr Chinnery which was a fantastic learning experience and it was great to meet a few other like minded people! Its blatantly not the best LE work around but its a start so any critique really is welcomed....................PS, I know its not centred ;-)
This isn't the result of any PS work but purely my usual mono adjustments in LR, I'm also hoping Santa knows where to get me a copy of Silver Efex II!

One of our newest locos glows in the sunlight at the front of my work train as we wait in the loop at Utiku to cross a southbound freight.
Took a few quick photos after a morning yoga workout session on my back patio! I love the color of this leotard and sometimes it doubles as a one piece swim suit!
