According to EUROSTAT, in EU Countries, the fatal accidents at work every year reach 5,700, while according to estimates of the World Labour Organization other 159,500 people die from diseases caused by their jobs. Combining these two figures it comes out 1 dead for “work” every three minutes and a half, every single day….
A systematic evaluation of risk at the workplace, especially in high-risk sectors such as construction, health and 'agriculture, can dramatically reduce that number.

Metrolink convesion work is seen underway at Altrincham in the summer of 1991. A new track layout has been laid to separate the running lines of BR and Metrolink ahead of the reopening the following year as a light rail system. The section of electrified down track from here to Navigation Rd was de-electrified and some of the former MSJ&AR overhead line gantries were removed.
On the 3rd floor of a 130 year old working class Victorian house, in a suburb north of Boston, is my 3 room apartment. Freezing cold in the winter and oppressively hot in the summer, it is none the less a safe and creative space to live.

You can also see some the model buildings, although most of them are stored in boxes up in the attic.
I'm sad to say, the town of Elgin Park does not exist as a whole entity; there just isn't any room to do so.
For what it's worth, the wallpaper is from the very early 60's and I was lucky to find just enough to complete the room.
As for the computer; I tried to retro fit it into an old 50's TV but it just wouldn't co-operate.

I work in the kitchen at a mental health centre, helping to make a hot lunch and a pudding for thirty plus outpatients, staff and support workers.

The local park, where my kids kick a ball around sometimes. I made a set of images here between the school run and going to work a few weeks ago. No excuse for not getting out with the camera when blessed with conditions like this on my doorstep.
It's very difficult to get work done when assholes are trying to tear your country down. I am on a deadline that I have very little chance of meeting but am also being distracted because racist, wannabe fascists have stormed the Capitol building. I'm angry, I'm frustrated, I'm saddened, I'm wishing I was shocked but I'm not. Most of all, I'm embarrassed. The people who are making this happen are also the same people that spout off about American Exceptionalism. We aren't exceptional. Certainly not anymore at least. This is not exceptional, this is pathetic.
There is a lot of work to do and deadlines are looming.
