Spotted this very friendly looking roundabout dog on my Winter promenade around Tungelsta today. Kram is the Swedish word for hug.
Swedish word of the day. Lekplats. New playground under construction at the park in Tungelsta. Looks like an old Volvo "rundnos" truck from the 1930s in there! A century ago, (give or take a few years), a man known locally as Cykel-Pelle lived in a house here. The old truck represents his business. You can also see a "torklada", representing the many laundry firms that operated here a century ago. And when it is all ready for the kids there will also be a building representing all the greenhouse nurseries from way back when.

Very old Swedish word of the day. Ölutkörare. Beer delivery guy at Gamla stan. Delivering beer from Nynäshamns Ångbryggeri, a microbrewery that makes very tasty beer. My favorite is the... wait, all of them, really skål.
The least poetic word in the Swedish language. This building was used as a "sågverk", sawmill back in the 1930s.
