204 yards, 2 ply, spun on my Kromski Sonata, superfine merino / tencel.
Athena named this "Twinkling Snowflake," but that made me gag a little inside.
So far: The secret message wool is crocheted alongside my handspun. Now I am waiting for some wine coloured fleece to line it. It will be blanket stitched around, and finished with a purple shell button to fasten with the loop.
With a wool felt heart applique on the butt. I figured since I stitched it up on Valentine's Day, I kind of had to do it.
The interlocking remains in place for the Bradfordville Siding, provided for nearby Wool Mills (now long closed). This is the view looking down the line towards Crookwell.
The Crookwell Branch was a branch line between Goulburn and Crookwell used to transport produce from farms into Goulburn (and on to Sydney). The line was closed in the 1980's due to the declining role of regional rail. Much of the line is still intact, save for isolated sections where level crossings have been removed.
Have you noticed I like to take sock pictures in moving vehicles? This sock has the plain parts on the side. It needs a rest from the busy pattern! These wil be great around the house socks as well as clog socks. They are not as thick and clumsy as I'd worried they would be. Don't get seasick--I rotated the photo, so yes, the teenage driver is upside down.

Absolutely delicious sport weight superwash Merino sock yarn in the Boardwalk colorway with a shot of solid Magenta for extra happiness. And happy I am.

Shetland wool is very fine and very crimped. It is a nightmare to spin, as I found on my first attempt. But it feels wonderful and, once you get the hang of it, it's rewarding.

The blue and green in the lower left are wool, the rest is lama. It came in little clumps, and I handcarded like colors together.
200 yards of navajo 3ply. It's dk weight. I blended this fibre on my louet drum carder. This turned out very even.
