Ricoh GXR arrived last evening. The lens is the 24-85.
Bradford pear, I don't think the birds/animals care for the taste as this is the last thing they touch.
I am not sure why the color-shift in the sky between this photo & the other one.

Passing this stretch of woods that runs along the Hudson River, you can see the aftermath of hurricane Irene from 2011 and most likely additional trauma from hurricane Sandy in 2013. The chaotic intersections of the fallen trees create a strong visual dynamic, outlined here by the incessant snows of 2014-15.
