This figurine was already in the room when I moved in. I didn't pay much mind to it and left it where it was. Then one morning I happened to see it as the light came in through a small window. I didn't want to lose my opportunity by taking time to dress up the scene. I just grabbed my camera and took some shots. Later I put up a background and over the next day or two, when the sun was coming in, I changed her position a few times and took some more photos. I've posted some of those photos already and might put up one or two more. (Windowsill Statue DSC_1163.jpg)
All the times we were in the room, I sat in this windowsill. It's about 5 feet off the ground. I really loved it.
these little babies were part of the centerpieces of our wedding. we have more around the house. and some succulents that i saved from the bouquets too. i love having them in our home.
196/365....my last day at my mom's and I was playing with my 100mm lens in her living room...the light was so bright and so warm... no more sill shots I promise!!

This is my fav challenge to find any rubbish on the promenade and place it somewhere new.
