Window in Bellingham, WA

A collection of holiday greeting cards sits on my windowsill in my new office. Funny since I received 2 more cards after I came back from vacation. I guess it's the thought that counts.

My new office is significantly smaller than my old one, which had 2 large windows, and such a beautiful view of the Canada Place, and the river valley...

Now, I see a drab of grey (Chancery Hall), and am constantly notified by City Hall's bells of when it is 'of the clock, and half past.

I miss seeing the morning sunrise from my old office... but at least I'm closer to the lunch room now?

incomplete set of Canadiana Encyclopedias (decorative + free), picture frame (flat on top of encyclopedias), awesome statue of old man holding crystal ball, Flash plushie (on top of donkey), cool bottles of wine (empty), Serenity figurine, gargoyle figurine (from France), candles, items from Windowsill 2

I don't know what kind of plant this is! It had orange-y flowers.

Ground goat meat balls. I could add more details if anyone is interested. They tasted wonderful. I just do not normally take pictures of food...

Morning sun on figurine

I think this is one of the only windowsills in the whole house...XD

Day 66/365

This one's for G! Ever since she said she liked the word windowsill, I've been searching for a good picture. My cats were all over the window today when I got home, so I was taking their picture. I decided to take this one, too. Turns out I really liked it!

When they were little, they could fit between the screen and the sill. Now Sprocket barely fits and Dino "Fat and Sassy" definitely doesn't.

My Christmas cactus (not pictured) refused to bloom, so my African violet has been picking up the slack. January 1, 2008.

A short series of portraits and still life in the kitchen.

Taken at our apartment in Chicago.

more of my windowsill ornament. miniature city skyline made from simple wooden shapes with windows & features printed on. BT Tower, Big Ben and the london eye in center with the Eiffel Tower on the right of the frame. Rather simplified but a fabulous little decoration.
