Against the night outside, the daffodils seemed bright and cheerful on the windowsill. Painting this SOOC shot improved it, I thought.

On my windowsill. I can't resist afternoon light.

At Baddesley Clinton, a moated manor house in England, there were flowers on virtually every windowsill, fireplace and table. They were so attractive.

Still thinking about today's prompt...but in the meantime I put this layout together using my May CKC kit.

All the times we were in the room, I sat in this windowsill. It's about 5 feet off the ground. I really loved it.

Sometimes the model directs the photographer. As I was about to eat dinner, Cassidy meowed from her ledge, and that was my cue to setup fast and shoot.

these little babies were part of the centerpieces of our wedding. we have more around the house. and some succulents that i saved from the bouquets too. i love having them in our home.

This is my fav challenge to find any rubbish on the promenade and place it somewhere new.

 

Captured with a Leica M9 and a manual Summicron 50mm ƒ1:2 plus a gray 3x ND filter, post processed in Lightroom using VSCO Film.
