As always, Pearl is there sitting on the windowsill.
Two more versions of the windowsill comp. painted by DDG. I wish I could say I had hand-painted this one! It would be my favorite if I did not have the others to compare it with.
Which one is the real Santa Claus?
Actually, she has decided she doesn't care, she is sick of Christmas, all the baking and crafting, the obnoxious elves, the reindeer poop, and her husband, always too busy with all the children in the world to pay any attention to her, enough is enough, the ridiculous outfit is coming off, and she's off to Maui, I'll meet you there Mrs. Claus, by the way, what is your first name? ...Clara ? don't worry, we'll think up a new one while drinking Mai Tais on the beach under a palm tree :))
and for those of you who love Christmas here's a link to some very important information: www.xmasclock.com/

Pour into pie crust. Bake 15 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 350º F (175º C / gas mark 4); bake 35 to 40 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1 inch from crust comes out clean.
Let cool and serve with whipped cream.
A small collection of succulents. They are very easy to take care of.
121 Pictures in 2021 - Theme No. 65 - On my windowsill
Bringing in some daffodils before the snow. We've had at least four Spring snows, with another cold night coming up on Friday.
Marks & Spencer were giving free seeds in a tiny plug before lockdown, these are some the results on the windowsill. An upsurge in home gardening was a positive of the pandemic except loads of seeds went out of stock and delivery was slow.
The spots are not my developing/drying they are my reminder to clean the windows, soon.
From yard to windowsill!
Very excited to have our first lupine which arose all on its own!
The iris are in full bloom, and the rhodies are popping out now.
Years ago I bought this little green glass at a garage sale for 25 cents, I guess it's a shot glass. At 2 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide it doesn't hold much. It sits on the dining room window sill along with some other shot glasses, a small blue pitcher and a jar of marbles.

A typical windowsill in the old town of Prague where the view outwards is just as pretty as the view inwards.
Known as one of the most beautiful cities of Europe, Prague`s history goes back over a thousand years. Throughout the ages it has had a number of nicknames such as "the mother of cities (Praga mater urbium)" and "city of a hundred spires".
Walking through the old town you become lost in a maze of stunning architecture. Shame on us for abandoning such wondering building techniques, for the modern sin of prefabricated homes!
