Das bekannte Motiv bei Günzach im Allgäu erinnert mich immer wieder an die Bildkompositionen von Windows 98 bzw. Windows XP. Zurück zum Bild: vor saftig grünen Wiesen konnte 218 446-3 mit ihrem täglichen IC 2085 "Nebelhorn" auf dem Weg nach Oberstdorf fotografiert werden.
The well-known motif near Günzach in the Allgäu always reminds me of the image compositions of Windows 98 or Windows XP. Back to the picture: 218 446-3 could be photographed in front of lush green meadows with hauling the daily IC 2085 "Nebelhorn" on the way to Oberstdorf.
This year winter is realy heavy, snow and cold. So i had possibility took a proper winter shot to this series.

The porthole view from an Iberia A350, some magic from mother nature.
Here's the desktop I've been using for pretty much most of the new year. I just really love the wallpaper and its colors. It's a actually a fractal image made by Blatte and available here:

I've also stuck some system stats on the wallpaper and kept them dark so as not to jar with the overall tone. Makes them really hard to see unless you know where they are. Not really sure why I enjoy such a difficult to use desktop, but its really hard for me to move on from this one...

Two generations of Alexander buses which were once the backbone for Dubliners in their daily commute.
Going back to green, former Dublin Bus Leyland Olympian RH 125, through the 90's the main double decker in Dublin, RH 125 is seen recreating a 46A on the last day of the route 25th January 2025.

I've been MIA from Flickr for some time now...took a holiday and work trip back-to-back. Can't wait to see what everyone has been creating the last few weeks.
Here is a roadside photo from somewhere between Pasco and Yakima, Washington State during my work trip. As difficult as it may be to believe, but this photo is minimally processed...white balance, curves, some sharpening, and I actually had to reduce the blue saturation as it was overly intense in that sky.

Windows style Royale Vista II Final to Styler
Summer landscape (Harz - Germany). The sky and clounds blew my mind. The colours are so deep. Further it reminds me of an old Windows XP wallpaper :)
I was fortunate enough to notice how the green sheet blended with the vibrant blue sky to give the impression of the iconic windows XP wallpaper.
This isn’t just a pop-up on my face — it’s the voice many women hear before they speak.
We rehearse, rephrase, soften, shrink. Not because we don’t know what to say, but because we’ve been taught to question how we say it — and how we’ll be judged.
We question our tone. Then we question our outfit. Is it too bold? Too plain? Too much leg? Too little femininity?
It’s exhausting to live between the fear of being “too much” and the pressure to be “just enough.”
Feminism isn’t about choosing between softness and strength, heels or flats.
It’s about giving yourself permission — to speak, to dress, to exist — without apology.
This is a Windows XP-inspired photo that I took during our Pangasinan-Zambales getaway last October 9. I just took that randomly because I really love the view, as well as its natural lighting that adds to the view's aesthetics.
