"The eye sees only what the mind is prepared to comprehend." - Robertson Davies
At first glance I thought this old home was quaint with its color scheme. I saw it in the older section of the town of Aylmer, Quebec last summer. I tried to isolate the two window frames in a single image but I had trouble lining up the frames evenly. Then I realized that the top window might actually have been installed not so perfectly. Or the top of the home had settled and twisted a bit? Maybe it's just an optical illusion. Well, it's beyond my comprehension but I liked the look anyway. Have a not so perfect but lovely Window Wednesday!

Miss Freddie Smith looking out the window in my bedroom. This is a composite though ... the Cattle Egret was across the street in my neighbor's yard, so I invited it over for Freddie to see up close! Happy Window Wednesdays!
