The Conjunto Nacional (opened in 1956) is an important building and commercial center of São Paulo, Brazil . It occupies the block bounded by Avenida Paulista, Rua Augusta, Alameda Santos and Rua Padre João Manuel. The project is by the architect David Libeskind and is characterized for being one of the first large multi-functional modern buildings deployed in the city of São Paulo.

 

The complex is characterized by the mixture of different uses in the same urban structure : are found in the Conjunto Nacional the residential uses, services and leisure.

Old Windows well weathered and worn, lots of creative uses for them, found in North Carolina.

After a couple of years in the urban I guess I've come back to the romantic landscape, though looking through glass.

A window with interesting light in a small side street somewhere in Penang. I especially liked this because of the shadows and the soft yellow light.

Another old window from the historical Carriage House at Coleman Memorial Park. Today the "Homestead" stables, known as the Carriage House (1853), stands in the center of the park.
