This image shows the Speyer Cathedral. It was taken with a Olypus OMD EM 10 and an Olympus M. 9-18 wide-angle lens.

A rather splendid sunset :-)

Plan was to get star trails over a local town but moon was a little bright..Full moon in 2 days...Nearby street lights also lit up the foreground a little more than I would have liked but is definitely a spot I will go back and shoot again....This was a merge of 110 images in StarTrails program.I did shoot nearly 200 images but lens fogged during and images had to be left out of the star trail..Nikon D5300,Tokina 11-16mm lens @ 11mm, iso 400 and 30 second exposures..Check out more of my work at www.facebook.com/PhotographybyTaraGowen/

I took this photo in front of a bibliobox when an entire family approached looking for one or more used books. The concentration of each member allowed me to get close enough to take this photo without disturbing the scene.

I'm working on an anthology of classic, epic poetry, which begins with selections from Homer's Iliad and Odyssey! :) I've replaced the Roman names with the Greek names: "RAGE, Sing, O goddess, the rage of Achilles son of Peleus, that brought countless ills upon the Greeks. Many a brave soul did it send hurrying down to Hades, and many a hero did it yield a prey to dogs and vultures, for so were the counsels of Zeus fulfilled from the day on which the son of Atreus, king of men, and great Achilles, first fell out with one another."

All the best on your epic hero's odyssey into the art of photography!

Another shot of the pier in Boscombe at sunset, this one has a bit of a strange and out of norm composition in someways but personally I think I like this shot more than some of the others one I got on the day despite what others say, but its not my fav. Anyway nothing else to really say so enjoy :)

Paris (UK: /ˈpærɪs/ parr-iss; US: Listeni/ˈpɛərɪs/ pair-iss; French: [paʁi] ( listen)) is the capital and most-populous city of France. Situated on the Seine River, in the north of the country, it is in the centre of the Île-de-France region, also known as the région parisienne, "Paris Region". The City of Paris has an area of 105.4 square kilometres (40.7 square miles) and had a population of 2,241,346 within its city limits in 2014.[2] The Paris Region covers 12,012 square kilometres (4,638 square miles), and has its own regional council and president. It had a population of 12,005,077 as of January 2014, or 18.2 percent of the population of France.[6]

Paris was founded in the 3rd century BC by a Celtic people called the Parisii, who gave the city its name. By the 12th century, Paris was the largest city in the western world, a prosperous trading centre, and the home of the University of Paris, one of the first in Europe. In the 18th century, it was the centre stage for the French Revolution, and became an important centre of finance, commerce, fashion, science, and the arts, a position it still retains today.
