A shot of the western prairie? If that's what you guessed...you're totally wrong. During a trip with a couple of nature documentary filmmakers up to Gregory's Bald in the Great Smoky Mountains, a group of horseback riders came strolling through the open grassy mountain top. It was fun to get low in the grass and shoot up towards the clouds while including different subjects, and in the case of this shot, a horse and rider, complete with cowboy hat. Slightly cropped, otherwise unedited.
Since I’ve clocked up about about 40hrs playing Left 4 Dead 2 in 3 months I chose this character resembling the hunter from the game as this weeks photo. It was taken at Supanova that was held at Homebush.
I love color splash! I wanted to work it in, so I figured jewelry and candy would work good together. It's not the typical "color splash eye photo", which has been done so many times. I feel good about this weekly log because I put more thought into than usual.
I edited this using 2 programs, Picasa and Gimp. On Gimp, I added an Alpha-Channel onto the layer then I duplicated it. Next, I went to the colors menu and clicked desaturate, which made it monochrome. Lastly, I clicked on the eraser in the tools box and went over the things I wanted to be colored. The editing I did in Picasa was simple. I just faded out lomo-ish.
This map describes Civic Forums over time in succession, generating small or large groups of people interested in learning more about the powerful topics affecting education, economic, and workforce development in communities and their regions, to identify new opportunities in enterprise collaboration.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Andrew brought me a Chocolate Pots de Crema from Whole Foods for Valentine's Day.
I am crazy about chocolate, so this is a sweet and wonderful treat. Andrew does not love chocolate the way I do, but indulges me every once in a while.
It is a pretty small dessert, but it does not have any nutritional data on it. I will eat one fourth at a time and bolus accordingly.
Yum, a treat that lasts for a few days.
PS: After this photo I promptly dropped the Chocolate on the floor. I picked it up and put it in the fridge for later. Suka licked the cream off of the floor.
Amazingly alert jury pool this am for day > Super Bowl & eager to hear about voter reg/update! #pascovotes
I had my camera set on auto, while I focused on my diploma and part of my heels because the theme of this photo is 'graduation'. I graduated on Friday! I didn't want to use any other setting. I just needed to get my focus the way I wanted it. I love how the colors work off of each other, which is partially why I'm proud of this picture. The post processing I did was on Picasa. I chose lomo-ish and then faded it half way. At first I wasn't going to edit this because I thought it looked good the way it was already, but then I figured it needed a little more "pop".
