The final phase of the loony season is here with the rehearsals of the Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals starting in Moscow. Love it or hate it (and I love it) it's comforting to think this spectacle endures as it has done all my life. :)
Great photography demands time and concentration - I fell short on both this week. I did take a few joyful minutes from helping to organize the Canadian Orienteering championships in the Maritimes and took this image of paint peeling off a tin wall. Cool designs! But the edges are a little out of focus - not sure if that is an artifact of the lens or perhaps I did a bad job holding the camera (but if so, then why is the middle focus much better)

August 9, 2008. 222/366. We had a boring weekend. Changed the locks, so I feel a little better about the ability of our insane ex-owner (and his criminal agent) busting into our house.
