I wanted to portray fragility and strength with this picture and roped in my daughter to take the picture. My scars are healing well and its through love and support of friends and family that I have got through it. Mark has been my constant support and been strong throughout this whole chapter of my life, but I think we are strong for each other as people often forget about those close who have to cope with everything.
I love this picture, Laura has taken it just as I wanted to portray.
52 Weeks Project.

Finaly I finished my 52 week project, with a 2 months delay. Well it takes wath it takes.
The goal was to learn about lighting and experience diferent setups.
I'm thinking about a new project...
Strobist: One canon 430EXII with softbox camera right set to 1/32.
One Yongnuo 560 bare camera left and behind set to 1/64.
See setup here.
My youngest daughter lost her two front teeth, the first just before Christmas and the second this week.
Teeth falling out makes them seem so grown up.
Took the kids to the park and the sun gave me just the right inspiration!

This month's photography club's speaker demonstrated motion trails technique. Here's my attempt using the pool table. Not nearly as poetic as the dancers that he photographs.
The 66th Security Forces Squadron hosted several events May 16 through 20 as part of this year's annual National Police Week. National Police Week pays recognition to federal and local law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
Hewo 52 weeks friends. Spiggs here... I apologize for my mommy not uploading a photo until this afternoon... but she has been very busy trying to secure a new home for us starting March 1st. She is also very sad today... I'm not sure why, but her eyes were quite swollen this morning, I gave her a big hug just in case she needed it...my mom Baccha was keeping her company in the house- Shes a much better snuggler than me! This photo was from yesterday after I did bite work getting ready for my Schutzhund, IPO 2 competition. I am resting by the car with my "passifier", also known as a sleeve. I love this thing alot. alot. alot. I also like fighting with our decoy- Michael. We have been learning alot these past months and my mommy seems to be pleased... which makes me feel like a team! YAH! So my face here... while I dont look excited, I am concentrating really hard on keeping my full bite on my Wubba.... because I know my momma is about to "OUT" me and put me back in my crate. I must enjoy while I can! See you next week!
"Momma" here: I apologize folks for being so absent this week, as mentioned before, I just signed a lease on a 5.5 acre horse farm and little house which I have been coordinating all week and has taken a lot of time in-between jobs and training. That said, I will be moving out as of March 1st... and I had to break the news to my 4.5 year boyfriend last night... needless to say. It has been a hard day. <-- hence my crossroads photo earlier I will catch up on comments tonight and this week, promise.
Technically... this photo is not all that great. But as Spiggs mentioned above.. his facial expression is just as he said. He's very serious when we get back to the car because he knows I will let him be for a min, then I have to out him and put him away = not his favorite. This photo does show his full bite on the sleeve that he is very good at and you can sorta see him grinning beneath the seriousness. I have great plans for this Valentines week... hint: tramp and spaghetti

Playing with a early 1980's 35-105mm minolta lens I got off ebay and noticed that it is quite sharp and good color. The macro switch seemed to work well in this pic also.
