What a difficult week! I knew joining the 52 of 2014 group that themes like Bokeh would be extremely challenging for an old fully auto point and shoot......but I didn't know how challenging! I set-up loads of potentially great shots with wonderfully coloured objects, candles, lights etc. but my camera just technically could not deliver. Actually when I say my camera, I mean my daughters camera....my even older fully auto p and s died on Christmas day! In the end I had to settle for this shot of male catkins on an Alder tree (least I think that's what they are...please correct me if I'm wrong). Not a particularly great or exciting photo but it does have bokeh of sorts (not necessarily good bokeh but bokeh none the less).
...has started here in Bolungarvik/Iceland. An annual event. People acts extreamely romantic. The purpose is to bring more babies to town ;o) Here, 300 heart-shaped balloons fly towards the sun. Better vewed large.
"What I Love" così ho chiamato il mio progetto. Attraverso le fotografie cercherò di raccontare quelle che sono le mie passioni, le cose che amo fare, le persone che amo..e magari scoprirne di nuove!

Buon 2013 a tutti!!!
I went to the OB yesterday and found out - gasp! - I'm measuring large. Again. Fundal height this week is 29. I have my glucose test this morning so I'm fasting. And hungry!
This week I really wanted to do a long exposure of cars driving down the highway, but time was running out and I had just bought this hula hoop at a silent auction, so I decided to try to get the perfect shot of my son hula hooping.
It was clear from the beginning of this project that the main problem was going to be commitment. Not on my part, but on other people. I hate to point fingers, but the fact that this image is this bad is not my fault. And I'm going to leave it at that.
Because I get to make the rules, there will be two pictures this week. One very poor picture I shot because of a lack of time. I'm not going to elaborate past that. The second is another only slightly better picture shot not during the time frame of this weeks call. Lame, I know. But things happen.
Unfortunately, the film isn't back from the lab either. I guess that's what I get for $0.84 film processing. It still baffles me how they can afford that, but I'm not going to worry about how. I'd much rather just enjoy dirt cheap processing fees and slightly longer return times. Maybe I'll buy a C41 kit and do it in my bathroom like black and white film. Although I doubt that's very cost effective.
I apologize for the delays. Just think about how much more you have to look forward to!
Call for next week is "Distress."
23 : 52. - Would you believe that I've never shucked corn before in my entire life? It's true, this is my very first time to shuck corn and I have to admit it's quite fun. We stopped by the grocery store to get all fresh ingredients for tonight's dinner.
