Note: This is the best set I've used so far. However, it's costing us a pretty penny since it's real. :(

An amazing thing happens when you have a child: everything matters and nothing else matters. Life becomes about tiny moments: details, breaths, choices, glances, expressions. Maybe life is always about these things, but it takes the very big presence of a very small person to really bring it into focus.

The photos help me stop time, which seems to gain speed as it rolls, minutes amassing into hours, hours piling into days, days stacking into weeks, and weeks slotting into months, all rushing into a year.

This week, we learned that playtime may be the most important time of all. And who wouldn't want to play with Matteo. He's radical.

I'm really starting to love the warm weather!

The aim of this session was to provide insights about developing and financing circular economy projects. The session analysed how to identify and combine appropriate funding sources for projects of various scales and types, starting from the LIFE programme and expanding by attracting complementary funding to multiply results. Complementary to LIFE funding opportunities are both traditional EU programmes and new financial possibilities such as the public-private partnership (PPP), JESSICA (Joint European Support for Sustainable Investment in City Areas).

Travis broke my balloon! Just playing with water balloons and a pellet rifle. Needed a faster shutter speed, but like the results. Shot in continuous shooting mode with my grandson handling the pellet rifle. We had fun, in spite of the cold. The trajectory is from right to left.

Abandoned was a very popular week in the original challenge. For the advanced challenge tell the story of something forgotten.

On a bit of a bummer...

Everytime I decide workout or begin training I get overzealous and get hurt. On day 5 of my run at Body For Life again I tweaked my wrist putting weights back on the rack. It feels like I sprained or badly bruised it.

So bummed.... Oh well

The weight has to come off so I will have to figure it out

I have seen some really cool B*W lately so I went B*W with this one

Happy Sunday... cya next week

52 week challenge....week 8 ~ still.......taken with my canon 7d 50mm 1.8 lens. shot at f22, 1/60, iso 1000. Took this in the basement in my cardboard box studio with a flashlight hanging overhead to light this. not an easy task at all. took me about 12 shots to get he lighting right then all was good from there. Tried to shoot this with a lens baby 80 optic but the focus was awful on it...need more light for that lens and I got fed up changing the aperture discs...lol. Pam your not going to like these lenses....lmao!! I also put a blk and white filter over this in aperture, like the effect of this better than the original. All the pics around the camera are blk and white shot in the 50's and 60's of my Mum and Grandmother!

It was everything I feared it would be...and worse...but it also had moments of pure happiness, I hugged people I love, I got to say goodbye, I gifted some handknit socks and I spent time quietly in the garden. I have never felt more exhausted in my life...

This is when we first got Wang Wang. She was just 8 weeks old. It's amazing how much difference a few months can make.

The tadpoles have continued to grow well and have almost doubled in size during the week. This one was feeding from the algae on the side of the bowl, this gives us the chance to see the mouth and underside area.

I used my extension rings so that I didn't have to crop the image. It has had minimal tweaking in Coral Paintshop Pro, basically just lightened it a bit.

Week #42 - Abstract

This sits on my desk at work and I love the way it catches the light coming in the window.

Shutter Speed: 1/40

Aperture: 2.4

ISO: 50

Brr, this shower is going to be cold!

This week's subject was leap... I didn't want to do a Jump. I wanted to do something different.. today i got the perfect oportunity...

We went to the zoo and this Buffalo thought it would be fun to jump around and kick. I had a feeling he was pretty young. He had me laughing!

Brooklyn Romance

I promised to take photos in Brooklyn, and I delivered.

Though the day I shot this was my last day of spring break, I'm pretty happy that I had that vacation. It's making me excited for the summer to explore and find more places to shoot.

Haven't taken pictures of Chris in awhile. He was in a funny mood today, so lots of cute faces in the comments :)

11/52

I thought I might join in on this 52 weeks group, it looks an interesting project and I have my new tripod!

It is an interesting photo because I still struggle to recognise this person in this photo. I love the hair cut but combined with glasses I don't always know who the reflection belongs to. Mind you it must be me, I has a gin!!

I have just realised many people won't understand from just this photo and the hair comment, about eight weeks ago I had my hip length straight blonde hair cut off at the length you see here. Also I have only just started wearing the glasses, both fairly dramatic changes in my appearance.

This is me, just me. No make-up, hair not done, unedited etc. Just plain me. I took more than 100 pictures this week but nothing filled my expectations of the theme so I got a lil more creative (got told off by my children for writing on my face though lol)

These are the things I want to be as often as I can.

Sometimes I have to be "Bad Mummy" and I hate that but it's how kids learn right?

Confidence is a huge thing for me, I wish I could say I feel it at least once a day but that'd be a lie.

I do work hard at whatever I do which is currently a SAHM.

I want to be happy but all those other emotions get in the way sometimes.

I want to be more patient.

I want to make more friends locally.

I want to be carefree but in such a worrying world that is hard most days.

The one thing I am day in and day out, from start to finish is LOVED by my husband and my children!
