Another foggy morning and I was outside to see what I could find to shoot and the spiders are coming back, lots of webs around covered in tiny beads of water from the fine mist in the air

We pulled over to photograph some of the wild flowers and I came across this spider's web.

Mt Work Regional Park - Bike Trails - Killarney Lake, Saanich, BC

 

This native spider builds a large, messy web and hangs upside down from it, waiting for something to drop in for lunch. This genus of spiders is not well studied; new species are still being found, and the taxonomy changes often.

I love this picture. The guide wires are simply amazing to walk through.

On my way out the door this morning it was foggy and there were a number of spider webs in the trees just begging to be photographed.
