I don't often find clouds interesting enough to photograph by themselves. This group at sunset on June 17th was an exception. It looked like a big portal opening up above.

Weber plays an upright electric jazz bass. He makes use of various effects pedals to produce some incredible other worldly sounds. He played bass with Jan Garbarek's group. A gig at The Triangle Arts Centre, Aston, Birmingham . 1987 I think. The concert was spellbinding.

There are several pics here of my spider. I never could get the shot I really wanted. She was quite patient while I tried different flash, lighting, exposure, distance, and angle.

This was taken around 1:30 in the afternoon today - you can see how dark and rainy it is :(

I submitted this photo for my photogrpahy group's weekly challenge - topic: "Part of the Full Picture" . As you can see it's part of a spider web.

Those web were really interesting, you wouldn't usually notice them, but it was a very foggy and wet day… I liked how the grass background kind of echoed the finer web lines. For this photo I boosted the contrast to really highlight the web.
