Ongoing web work for Suzuki Motorcycles. Concepts and headlines for banners are adapted from my magazine advertisements as well as longer sales and technical copy.
The first triangle web spider, Hyptiotes cavatus, that I have seen in years! Two of them, actually, on a cliff face along Snake Road in the LaRue-Pine Hills Research Natural Area, Illinois, USA, on October 12, 2023.

Felt sorry for this little fella (as Rolf would say!) in the garden. Managed to walk straight through his web and he then had to come out again and redo it all again. Sorry!
This web looked almost absurd with a thick layer of white frost. Spotted on my way to work on a cold morning.
The spider lives in a burrow in the rocks. You can see how the web slopes towards one hole. As "game" gets caught in the web, the spider rushes out to seize it.
