Light refraction through a rainy windshield
This abstract looking image is a photo that I captured, through a windshield of a moving vehicle, during a rain storm.
The image was caught between the swipes of the windshield wipers.
( For your information ...... I was the passenger )

A new show of my paintings is on view in The Hague. Legendary hairdresser and art collector Dick de Vries hosts my work in his gallery space. One barber chair has remained: getting a good haircut while talking about art is a perfect combination.
My work is for sale - also as high-quality giclee print for a modest price. Please contact me for inquiries.
"A Remark You Made" is the second track on Weather Report's seventh album "Heavy Weather". It was composed by bandleader Joe Zawinul.
Catch up soon...
Thanks for looking ... :-)
New blog: I was looking for an affordable action camera and this is it. This camera is everything I would expect it to be.

Winter close to Bromma Airport on January 11, 2021.
"A picture says more than a thousand words" and you can all see how shitty the winter weather was mid-afternoon yesterday...
Some unexpected overnight snow, parts of Dublin & the country covered & time to reach for the camera for some snow scenes on the way to work.
Poor DART 8320, it hasn't turned a wheel in many months & may not go back into service at all.

In pianura padana e sull'Oltrepò Pavese abbastanza soleggiato e solo qualche modesta nube cumuliforme."
Finalmente !

Listening to the meteorologist on tonight's news, he announced with all seriousness that everyone wants to know when the current cold snap will be over - even though it's been here for all of two days! Worse yet, it's going to continue for possibly as long as the next two weeks. While it's true that everything slows down and takes longer when the weather is cold and snowy, maybe that's not such a bad thing. We live our day to day lives at such a breakneck speed, that being forced to slow down might actually give us a bit more time to appreciate the wonderland all around us.

These Snow Removal trucks have been busy this winter. It's getting warmer so they probably won't be around much next week.
batten down the hatches there is one hell of a storm coming.
Hurricane Ophelia is set to hit Ireland and the experts are estimating it will be a category 3 hurricane. God help us . . .
it's the most powerful hurricane to hit Ireland EVER
back in 1961 Hurricane Debbie, a category 1 hurricane hit Ireland killing 15 and brought record-breaking winds and caused severe disruption so we should be in for one hell of a ride . . . .
I find it difficult to walk by these trees and not take a photo ... so I have, again!! A sunny morning with a lovely blue sky!

Quite nice that one of my latest photos was used by the meterologist on Norway's main news last night.
This about sums up the current weather, except that the sun was out when I took this. It is SOGGY! Wet! Damp! Dank! Cold! Horrible! And Wet!
