Ink and ecoline ink on paper. Nice experiment: can I use waterbased ink to paint actual acrylic paints. Please let me know if you think it worked.

The performance involved the artist moving in a slow, contemplative improvisation, while releasing colored inks from a water carrier ~ body sculpture, onto papers arranged on the floor in front of the audience present, and intimate, within a few feet of the mindful, concentrated attention, performative action.

I love the technique and will try more with things I find around the house...
linocut and woodcut….
From left… 1. underneath is acrylic and on top is oilbased linocut...just an experiment...which doesn´t work well...the paper was curled a lot and the print was difficult to do because I placed the linoplate on top and the acrylic is rather smooth and the plate didn´t stick to the paper at once and did move a bit....
2. linocut with oilbased color on fabriano printing paper….better……
3. the same as 1, but more movement...feels like you are wearing wrong glasses...:O)
4. woodcut, waterbased color on Fabriano printing paper….
5. woodcut, waterbased color on thin japanese printing paper…
6. woodcut, waterbased color on thick fabriano printing paper...

this is cut in a small 18 x 22 cm plywood....and waterbased color...my plan is to work with oilbased colors too...
The relief ink is from Schmincke….
I made the watercolour yellow in the middle and bluish brown around it...along the sides of the paper…..just to make it darker and integrate with the sepia print.....
made on the kozo nature 50 gr. and I find it okey while considering that i am not satiesfied with the waterbased colours that i have used….I guess the reason why it went on so well, was that the kozo paper is such a good paper for this two plates linoprint...

Came back from Hobby Lobby a few hours from taking and putting this picture on Flickr. Got some model color waterbased acrylics that go by the brand name Vallejo. A guy that I watch uses these for painting his Legos so I might as well use them lol. I also got a matt tarnish, which helps prevent the paint from scratching.
The Barge at Bude is a waterbased refreshment room. It is a purpose built traditional wide beam barge constructed in 2015 and opened in 2016. During the winter it trades from the sheltered canal basin, moving to a location near the sea locks for the summer season (seen here) where there is convenient access to the beach. it is well worth a visit.

The Bude Canal was a canal built to serve the hilly hinterland in the Devon and Cornwall border area, chiefly to transport lime-bearing sand for agricultural fertiliser. The Bude Canal system was one of the most unusual in Britain.
It was remarkable in using inclined planes to haul tub boats on wheels to the upper levels. There were only two conventional locks, in the short broad canal section near the sea at Bude itself. It had a total extent of 35 miles (56 km), and it rose from sea level to an altitude of 433 feet (132 m).
The canal opened in 1823 and all except the seaward end closed in 1893. The section from Falcon Bridge to the Sea Lock remains in use and acts as a harbour for Bude. Access to the Sea Locks is only possible at high water.
The Bude Canal & Harbour Society are working to reopen the full lower section of the canal from the foot of the Marhamchurch Incline to the Sea Lock and make it navigable once again. The Rodd's Bridge / Lower Pound Lock has already been restored.
We used to get song thrushes all year, but now they seem to be migratory - leaving in August and returning in late winter. It’s always lovely to hear them singing - and smashing the snail shells!

Experiment of ecoline in water.
Ecoline is a waterbased paint which is really more something like ink, because it's really annoying to get off your hands and clothes. Had some more, but these worked out best.
