Steph was playing with the underwater camera and not having much luck. I took this neat picture right at the water line. It is getting chilly now. The fish are getting slow.
Pictures from my summer trip to Forde Abbey, near Chard, Somerset, UK.
This is the Centenary Fountain, which is the tallest powered fountain in England and draws it's waters from the mermaid's pond.
The fountain was installed in 2005 to mark the centenary of the Roper family's guardianship of the Forde Abbey estate.
It's quite a site to behold and well worth the visit to the gardens alone!
Unless you're dressed in waterproof gear, or wearing swimming suits (as many of the children were doing), you just have to wait for this curtain of water to take a break before continuing on this path.

just back from the opening day of the Asia-Pacific Trieneil. WOW it's great. this is a reflection in the art gallery water feature
I planted some perennials between the stream and back trees. I also added a couple of water plants. There are a couple of frogs that like to hang out in this section, specifically near the spiky plant.
