My precious pieces won't see the in suite washing machine at the rented place. Apparently, it leaves oily stains on clothes when it has hiccups. I can see it all over Amir's stuff.

So I trust these mighty machines. Can you see what the sticker reads? Hilarious! To leave absolutely now doubts it should rather say that you cannot wash your kid or pet in there.

An Australian Blues stalwart, George Washingmachine was playing songs from his new Blues Rinse LP in the Kosciuszko Room.

I had to wait in all day for the washing machine to arrive, and I only just had time to put it in place when I had to go to do more cleaning at Coln Stores. I connected the machine up when I got home, and it's doing its first load now (9.30pm).

In the afternoon, Mike stayed in so I could go down to church for 2pm, where John Reeves (Coln's bell tower captain, or whatever he's called!) rang the church bell 71 times in honour of our dear friend Bunny, who died at the end of March, aged 71. It was a fairly impromptu event, but there were about 14 of us there, and it was very touching.

Two socks go in, one sock comes out. A draw full of single socks is my definition of frustrated! I put a single light bulb inside the barrel of the washing machine for the light source. Wanted this to have lots of shadow and look a bit sinister.

"Shouldn't that proposed mega-casino by B.C. Place have a theme, like The Luxor or Treasure Island in Las Vegas?

I'm just sayin.' "

Note: At the risk of stating the obvious, the washing machine refers to the money-laundering that takes place in casinos.

I gave Erno a bath last week. It was a hand wash, but he was taking so long to dry (even in last week's nice weather!), I began entertaining the idea of putting him in the tumble dryer. Lilly advocated against that, suggesting his eyes might get scratched and therefore he would need some goggles, which led to the idea of swimming trunks, and came back to visions of bathtime for Erno

Momma got a new washing machine!

We're in the process of remodeling our laundry room and I just survived a week without a washer - an amazing feat really when you think about it.

And yesterday it arrived. I ran a few loads thru and got them on the line and then, before bed, I thre in one more load and told it to begin it in the morning. hahah! Imagine!

My old washine machine only had dials and would never listen to such a command.

I had to keep entering the room for a peek at all those pretty lights. Image is pretty much a SOOC except for the removal of a few spots.

our new washing machine - no more hand wasing in the laundry sink - hoorah!

We have no TV, but she doesn't care. There's always action in the washing machine.

How do I work this thing?!

This was my firstborn, I learned later that we were supposed to use the bath for the kids and the washing machine only for their clothes.

I don't yet do too much of my design in Illustrator so this was a fun exercise to get familiar with the drawing and coloring tools.

Hotpoint Ultima WMD942K washing machine & TCD980K Tumble dryer.

This stylish Ultima washer and dryer from Hotpoint have the latest eco wash programmes for use with low temperature detegents, and take a large capacity washload washing & drying 8kg of clothes simultaneously. Match this with a superfast 1400rpm spin, condenser drying, along with sensor dry programming and washday becomes a breeze.

This is a saving grace from an otherwise mediocre weekend of daily creativities, mostly because the photo is so awesome. I had to use my fisheye to be able to capture it all inside my washing machine's drum!

This image was wiped out in the Great SCED Washout of 2011. My apologies if your favourite or comment went with it - I did all I could before I had to restore it manually. Thanks for understanding!
