After more than 16 years of hard work, it was time for retirement. We don't know ho many years this washing machine really worked, we got it from the former inhabitants from the flat. And they got it from those before. That makes minimum 16 years, but it could be more.
If found a good offer for a new one (with dryer) and I could convince my landlord that I really needed a new one, the old one was already halfway broken. At the shop they were so kind to guarantee delivery and set-up on Saturday, BUT they didn't tell me that it would be 7.45, argh! I wanted to make a shot of myself next to the new washing machine 50s style but the installation guys were really fast - so just a good bye shot to the old one. I am sure it is in a better place now.
Another roll of cheap expired 35mm film, first put in washing machine, then dried, before shooting.

Laundry services are growing up around major campus area in Bandung. They offer washing and ironing, each cost about IDR 3,000/kg.
My husband and I were exploring a local Lady's beautiful garden out in the country , Cheboygan County , Michigan. I thought this was a rather ingenious way to recycle ones junk .

Our washer is a Hotpoint, and the top of the front panel clips into place. Pry gently at the sides (wrap the screwdriver in a cloth to prevent it making marks. )
The bottom hooks onto some other clips. Just pry at the top and once you get it loose, you'll be able to lift the bottom up and off.
