so we got dressed
put hats on over our messy hair
and went to get desserts.
we stopped for cheetos at the drug store near the laundry mat
held hands while the laundry washed
ate ice cream when they dried
and with the windows fogged over
we drove home in dream sequence.
Lucy, like all kittens, is into everything! She's very fast too. I had just taken some washing out of the machine this morning when I turned round and saw this little face looking back at me.

Mathematically dividing the number 1 by the number 3 results in a number that cannot be written with a finite amount of digits (one would have to continue to write additional threes after the decimal place without ever stopping). However it is possible to divide the number 1 by the number 2 and finish writing digits very quickly (0.5).
This is the reason that was provided by a high school physics teacher to prove the it was impossible to divide anything into equal thirds, but possible to divide things into equal halves.
I never had the change to ask the teacher to divide 1 by 2 using base 3 rather than decimal.
rats.
Death is not a careful withdrawal. I couldn't decide myself at the moment of uploading one of two similar pictures I had. I came up to this one.

FOR THOSE WHO (MAY) WONDER - there is a new (and public!) group around, www.flickr.com/groups/ketchup/
This shot was taken on my recent trip back to Michigan, this old washer is part of the grounds of the Trenton Cultural center, which consists of an old Barn, an original Victorian house, and a beautiful garden and greenhouse. Its a suburban town and this is whats left of the old farm land that it use to be before it was developed. The house sponsors craft fairs, I especially use to love going there at Christmas time and roaming the rooms of the old house,. always smelled of cinnamon and spice and had wonderful homemade crafts to admire. Really created the ambience of an old fashion Christmas.
I just love this place!

Sure, it's only 4 o'clock, but I've already gone for a run and cleaned the house for four hours. I think it's about time for dinner!
