These are dilapidated hand washing basins. We still use these at my work and when people use them the people look like farm animals gathered 'round a trough.
I am gradually releasing these photos until the end of May. There are about 26 total.
After Hurricane Matthew there were lots of items washed up on the beach, but this piece of white driftwood caught my eye just as the sun was coming up.
The sea was very stormy this morning so I decided it would be interesting to try and photograph the waves at high tide. I decided to head to the south pier as the sun was going down and found the huge sea was pounding the walls and throwing waves high into the air. This is one of my favourite shots looking north along the pier as a wave washes over it.

The Grand Wash in Capitol Reef NP.
Two perspectives of the most popular hike in the park, the Grand Wash. The shot from above is an offshoot trail from the Grand Wash to Cassidy Arch.
I was hoping to get out and do some Spring shots but the last few days have been blustery as all heck.
This quaint wash area is at Jo's Inato, a family restaurant (i.e. Gerry's, Dencio's, etc) we discovered while in Cebu.

I photographed this door and wash in the little walled village of Monteriggioni near Sienna. The walls there were of so many different materials, having been repaired and added on to over the centuries that the texture was bewildering. The figure was my invention.
Another long exposure shot of the pier in Blankenberge. I absolutely love the colors in this picture.
With my recent work commitments getting out for a landscape session has been a bit of a hard task so a few uploads from the archives is in order. This was taken at caloundra on Queenslands sunshine coast. I do realise the Dicky has been done to death but each photo is unique and presents a different view on this iconic ship wreck..
