M wanted to make some cup cakes so we bought a pack of cases in the local convenience store. But back home they seemed too big and looking again at the box we realised the cases were for muffins!
Not what M wanted, but always looking for something I've added them to my box of items that might come in useful sometime!
But I just had to remove a few!
Put them on my desktop and side light them!
Looked more than interesting!
Camera, adapter, extension tube, and a scruffy enlarger lens that I picked up on eBay and hadn't used before, all mounted on a table-top tripod.
Took a photograph.
Quite like the result - looks to be B&W but camera was set for colour!
Oh! And the cakes didn't get made, but a 'cut & come again' fruit cake did! Next time ......!

I gave the goats a big, juicy pumpkin to eat, and Julianne got it all over her face. I hope it washes off soon!
"But I don't want to go
among mad People," said Alice
"Oh you can't help that," said the cat
"We're all mad here..
I am mad...
You're mad..."
"How do you know I'm Mad?"
ask Alice
"You must be," said the cat
"or you wouldn't have come..."
Lets dance in style, lets dance for a while
Heaven can wait were only watching the skies
Hoping for the best but expecting the worst
Are you going to drop the bomb or not?
Let us die young or let us live forever
We dont have the power but we never say never
Sitting in a sandpit, life is a short trip
The musics for the sad men
Can you imagine when this race is won
Turn our golden faces into the sun
Praising our leaders were getting in tune
The musics played by the madmen
Forever young, I want to be forever young
Do you really want to live forever, forever and ever
Some are like water, some are like the heat
Some are a melody and some are the beat
Sooner or later they all will be gone
Why dont they stay young
Its so hard to get old without a cause
I dont want to perish like a fading horse
Youth is like diamonds in the sun
And dimonds are forever
So many adventures couldnt happen today
So many songs we forgot to play
So many dreams are swinging out of the blue
We let them come true. . .

The jetty at Bicheno, nestled in Waubs Gulch on Tasmania’s east coast, is a charming timber structure that plays a quiet but vital role in the town’s coastal rhythm. It’s managed by Marine and Safety Tasmania and serves as a modest but functional point for small vessels, fishing, and coastal access.
Just north of the boat ramp near the Lobster Shack, the jetty is part of the scenic Foreshore Walk—a favourite for locals and visitors alike. It’s not a grand marina, but that’s part of its appeal: it blends into the rugged coastline, offering flat access to the water and a front-row seat to the Tasman Sea’s moods.
If you’re wandering down Jetty Road, you’ll find yourself at Waubs Bay beach, where the jetty quietly anchors the scene. It’s a great spot to watch the sunrise, cast a line, or just soak in the salty air. And if you’re staying nearby—say, at the charmingly renovated Jetty’s End shack—you’re only a couple of minutes’ stroll from this coastal gem.
I thought it made an excellent image capture, what do you think?
I went to Twin peak almost midnight because I didn't have something to do at that night. I just wanted to see the SF cityscape at first but I realized "Oh! I've some scene I didn't take it before". Then I went to this place and take a photo with the full moon light. It's good that I took with moonlight, the sky was blue and clear but the big problem was at that time not had a car go or come to the way that I want. I only wished "please...I need red light red light"
I have wanted to get this location for such a long time after seeing images from the likes of Trevor Cotton and Spencer Brown and an opportunity arose over the weekend that I couldn't turn down, high tide at sunset!!
I arrived on location only to struggle finding the entry point for the forshore this gem sits on, 10 minutes later and some local hash heads gave the game away, after being told it was a 5 - 10 minute walk by the above mention weed smokers I arrive 32 minutes later......with the sun setting behind a bank of cloud.......gutted, so what was a promising bit of light and I end up on a recce!
I still really struggle with LE's at this time of day due to the ever changing light! Give me a grey day and I'm good, but sunrise or sunset and I start to have issues!
Anyway, after a fair bit of time sat at the PC, this is the end result from that recce and to be fair, Im fairly pleased with it! I would love feedback from the people that know this location as I feel there are issues with my editing!
360 Seconds of LE goodness here!

Taken in sunny
Te he estado buscando,
oí un grito dentro de mi alma.
Nunca he tenido un deseo
parecido a este antes,
sabiendo que estás saliendo
por mi puerta.
Toda mi vida,
¿dónde has estado?
¿dónde has estado?
Me pregunto si te volveré a ver de nuevo,
y si ese día llega,
sé que podríamos ganar.
Me pregunto si te volveré a ver de nuevo.
Y cada vez que siempre he sabido
que tú estabas ahí, sobre tu trono,
una reina solitaria sin su rey.
Te anhelé, mi amor eterno.
Toda mi vida,
¿dónde has estado?
Me pregunto si te volveré a ver de nuevo,
y si ese día llega,
sé que podríamos ganar.
Me pregunto si te volveré a ver de nuevo.
Toda mi vida,
¿dónde has estado?
Me pregunto si te volveré a ver de nuevo,
y si ese día llega,
sé que podríamos ganar.
MALACHI: “Careful Mutzli! I don’t want you overbalancing.”
MUTZLI: “I’ve got the bottom of it in my paws.”
MALACHI: “Right, well I’ll slide it forward them Mutzli. If you can step backwards as I do, and then it will fall down like the other one did, and we shall have one Krówki each for afternoon tea.”
MUTZLI: “Alright Malachi.” *Ponders.* “Are you quite sure Daddy won’t mind us eating two of his Krówki Polish fudge sweets?”
MALACHI: “Of course he won’t Mutzli! Look how many there are in this sweetmeat dish. Besides, don’t you have a grumbly tummy?”
MUTZLI: “Oh I do, Malachi! Grumbly tummy, Malachi. Grumbly tummy.” *Goes to rub tummy vigorously.
MALACHI: “Careful Mutzli! Don’t let the Krówki sweet fall!”
DADDY: “Ummm… Malachi?”
MALACHI: “Oh!” *Looks up and sees Daddy watching he and Mutzli. “Yes Daddy?”
DADDY: “Malachi, pardon me for asking this, but what exactly are you and Mutzli doing?”
MALACHI: “Well, I thought that was obvious Daddy! We are helping ourselves to some afternoon tea. Grumbly tummy Daddy! Grumbly tummy!” *Rubs tummy vigorously.*
MUTZLI: “Hullo Daddy!” *Blushes pink beneath plush white fur.* “Grumbly tummy?”
DADDY: “Then why didn’t you and Mutzli ask me for some Krówki Polish fudge, Malachi?”
MALACHI: “Well I should have thought that was obvious too, Daddy.” *Puts paws on hips.* “We couldn’t find you, so we had to take matters into our own paws.”
DADDY: “Oh!” *Surprised.*
MALACHI: “Now, if you’ll excuse us Daddy, Mutzli and I have to get this second Krówki sweet out of the dish so that we have one each.” *Thinks.* “Of course you could hep us, Daddy, by picking it out of the dish for us.” *Looks hopefully at Daddy.*
MUTZLI: “Grumbly tummy, Daddy! Grumbly tummy.” *Looks hopefully at Daddy.
The theme for “Looking Close on Friday” for the 10th of June is “candy”. This was not the easiest theme for me, only because I do not have the sweetest tooth in the whole world, however I was lucky, as a very dear friend gave me some Krówki Polish Fudge at Easter, and not having such a sweet tooth, I still have plenty left to photograph. Krówki, literally meaning "cows," are Polish fudge, semi-soft milk toffee candies. When hand-made, they are hard and crispy on the outside, but the inside is more fluid than solid. It is one of the most common Polish confections, sold worldwide, and might be considered "dulce de leche candy". If you follow my photostream, you may know that I collect 1:12 size miniatures, some of which have featured in past themes in the “Looking Close on Friday” group. This includes Malachi the bear, who today is joined by his cousin, Mutzli. I do hope that you like my choice, and that this photograph makes you smile!
Malachi I acquired in mid-March 2020 (and mid Coronavirus) from a wonderful Melbourne stalwart toy shop: Dafel Dolls and Bears, when I went looking for a present for one of my goddaughters. Malachi is designed by Mary and hand-made by Wendy Joy in Australia. He has articulated arms and legs, and an extremely sweet face. Malachi was the name he came with, written by hand on his little tag.
Mutzli was a lovely surprise gift from a dear friend in Britain who kindly slipped him into a parcel of other delightful gifts for me. Like Malachi, he is mohair, has articulated arms and legs, and an extremely sweet face. Mutzli got his name from the tiny gold tag around his neck. He is made by Mutzli, a Swiss bear manufacturer since 1949.

I wanted to get some shots of a Black-headed Grosbeak, so I thought I could put up with squirrels for a few days until I got a shot. I put some sunflower seeds in a feeder on my deck. I had forgotten about the masked bandit. There's no point in bankrupting myself putting out seeds that my neighborhood rascals will eat before any bird sees it!

Birds are such naturally photogenic subjects, sometimes it seems they just want to get in front of the lens. Like this one, which was waiting for someone to come along with a camera. He was acting like the cool kid on the block :-))

Galapagos Dark-billed Cuckoo (Coccyzus melacoryphus)
A Galapagos bird and not a migrant. The Dark-billed Cuckoo is distinguished from other cuckoos by its dark beak, the black mask through its eye and its tuffy under parts.

This year I wanted for us Winter Christmas feeling. We used Mystical Rentals Landscape Winter scene that comes without buildings so we were able to decorate it alone. It was really fun and we moved it all in process how we made photos. I was so happy to use some of incredible creations from DRD and Serenity Style.
