after a beautiful hot day we decided to test our feet in the water (with our water shoes). It was a nice walk. In the end the camera fell in the stream but we saved it!
The temperature begins to drop as the sun begins its descent, making a cold day even colder. This wooden bridge takes us back to the parking lot and the shelter of the car.
The Ricoh GX100 has been fun to play with today, once I established a (low) angle for today's photo safari. I have walked through the wood many times with a camera in hand, struggling to capture the natural beauty in a fresh way. Today counts as a good day.

We've had some beautiful frosts (sometimes combined with gorgeous mist), so I took my camera with me Thursday morning and took some photos as I walked back home.
