This week a bit over zero temperature and sunny, so the small tortoiseshells (Aglais urticae) Nässelfjärilar - have been sunbathing and trying out their wings after the long winter in my attic.

I have taken this pic out of my window... It was early morning I saw this bird sitting on the tree and chirping... It's always good to be surrounded by beautiful nature. Isn't it? I reckon UK is one of that kind. Then it's shooting time, I shot this image.
TBH this isn't the original image I have modified the Colour Vibration and darkness to this image which gave me this beautiful picture. Keep trying with the options - is what I would say!!! Just play around...

I have to get up at 6am for work now, and although that sounds painful, I quite like. It's so peaceful in the morning, and some days, like this one, there's a beautiful mist outside. The main buildings you can see are Woking, and just behind that is Heathrow Airport!

It is currently pouring rain here in California, and days like this make me shuffle through my Hawaii photographs! Ahhh Maui...
This is just around the corner from Ho'okipa Beach, the famous surfing and windsurfing area on the Northshore of Maui. This shot was after the good colors of the sunrise, so I shot facing west for a bit before heading back up the hill.
This was my first time using ND grads after deciding to give landscape photography a go. After that, I was hooked! I never realized what a difference graduated neutral density filters made. I can't imagine shooting sunrise/sets without them now.
