Scott Monument in Princess Street.
The Scott Monument is a Victorian Gothic monument to Scottish author Sir Walter Scott. It is the second largest monument to a writer in the world after the José Martí monument in Havana. It stands in Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh, opposite the Jenners department store on Princes Street and near to Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station.

This was shot at Axel Towers, which is a cluster of towers -- well towers in Copenhagen sense; they are not that tall, the tallest being only 61 meters. They have been designed by the very talented architect Lene Tranberg from the award winning Danish architect firm Lundgaard & Tranberg Arkitekter. Inauguration was in June 2017 and the buildings house offices, restaurants and other shops. Location is across the road from Tivoli and I dare not think what it costs to rent an office...
It is just an amazing place to take photos with something interesting both left, right up and down.
I used the Nikon 35mm DX f/1.8G lens for this session - it is just such an awesome lens! I played around with Auto ISO on the D7500 and it's a nice feature but I am not sure I will do that again in the foreseeable future because I feel like I don't have control so I might use it only as a guide to ISO and set that manually. Let's see what happens.

For this week’s challenge "pin" I went searching for some pins and found some gold sewing pins a straight pin with pearl head and a safety pin. Then I needed a way to display them and came up with a toy which has a magnet base and metal blocks, I then tossed some of the gold pins on to see what would happen. See set-up pin photo to see how this image was created.
The height and width are 2 1/2".
