Amberg street, 2021.

Located between two blocks on the 15th of November boulevard in Brașov, this glass arcade provides some much-needed shelter from the ongoing snowstorm for citizens still roaming the streets of the city at night.

The village of Chappel & Wakes Colne in Essex, UK, is famous for one thing - it's massive brick-built 32-arch railway viaduct over the River Colne. It is the largest brick-built structure in Eastern England and one of the largest anywhere in the UK. It currently carries the single-track stub of the Marks Tey to Sudbury branch line, until 1967 part of a through route from Colchester to Cambridge. DJI Mini 2 Drone shot 12MP camera.

Used on the front cover of David Gibson's Rail 200 book for Suffolk and Essex Community Rail Partnership (without proper credit I should add).

I spent all of last week in the mountains Jeeping with friends. The trip will definitely live on in my memories.

We were lucky that the smoke from the Dixie fire was absent until the day we left. We also were amazed we had the entire Rubicon Springs campground to ourselves.

I tried my hand at still life photography today. Basically I convinced my wife to let me borrow all the fruits and vegetables from the kitchen, and then a few more items. She even gave me her pearls to add to the arrangement. This is the final result. Used a Pentax M 50mm f1.4 with my Pentax K-1.

After I shot the other photo of the new theater marquee, I actually had to move closer, not further back, to get this shot, using the ultra-wide lens. Everything falls into place nicely in a symmetrical way. I hope that's a good sign.

The photo looking down on the tracks of the Chicago El provides a new perspective. Mirroring adds a new arch shape to the image. The trains and tracks are still clear to the viewer, but the overall gestalt changes. #WPDObjects
