It wasn't the most pleasant first evening in Edinburgh with temperatures around zero degrees and a mix of rain and sleet showers. But it definitely helped photographically.

The Singel is one of the canals of Amsterdam that surrounded Amsterdam in the Middle Ages, serving as a moat around the city. The Singel is now the innermost canal in Amsterdam's UNESCO World Heritage Canal Ring.
The Singel is lined by many beautiful, richly decorated canal houses built during the Dutch Golden Age.

Thank you all for your faves, nice comments, invites and follows. I’m overwhelmed to find this picture at Explore for the second time.
I’ll tried before and found that there is not a suitable solution for giving a personal thank’s to each and one of you – so I chose to use this info field to tell you al that I appreciate this very much.
Leipzig's Old Town Hall – which dominates the east side of the marketplace in Leipzig's district Mitte - is considered one of Germany's most important secular Renaissance buildings. At the rear is the Naschmarkt (Sweet market). The mayor and the municipal administration have been housed in the new town hall since 1905.
This is actually the third McDonalds to be built. But its the oldest one to survive. It still functions and the red building to the right is a museum.

Focus stack (21 images) Shot with two off-camera strobes (Godox AD 200/Godox XPro II L trigger). Flash A mounted overhead, angled at 20 degrees toward front of subject, bare bulb, bounced off 32 inch white umbrella. Flash B, camera right 30 degrees, 45 degrees above subject, modified with MagMod MagGrid, used as key light. White flag camera rigt, at 45 degrees to control reflections of surface of subject. Subject place on silver mirror.
Subject size 62.5 mm x 44.8 mm
Made of brushed/polished hardened aluminum.
The photo was taken outdoors, handheld, in front of a green hedge. In order to blur the green hedge, I worked with 200 mm and an open aperture. I don't think the result is that bad.
Report from a photo trip to Lofoten - 14
Sakrisøy is a very small island in the Reinefjord, located between Reine and Hamnøy. The European route E10 passes through the island and they are proud to offer the parking space for one bus next to the traditional Anita's Seafood restaurant. And there is a great view of the Olstind mountain.
In reality, this house (like all houses on Sakrisøy) is yellow in color, similar to the sunlit mountain behind. I took the liberty of changing this color contrast in post-processing.
Otaru is known for glassworks, music boxes and other artworks. In a small shop, my eyes were caught by the candle colors on the racks.

Guggenheim museum in New York, the building is a landmark close to Central Park, there are many nice artistic works along the winding corridor up to the top, the architectural design limits the way they place artwork, the grandeur of building from inside is a challenge for wide angle lens. Exterior side of building looks a bit less interesting
Michel Pastoureau, in his fascinating "color stories" tells us that Paleolithic men used white, black and red as the first mastered color. As an archetype, for occidental man ; red is both one and the colors.

Uno Port has become one of the places in the contemporary art festival “Setouchi International Art Festival” which established on 2013 and artworks are scattered around the port.
This art festival is held every three years with the aim of revitalizing Setouchi’s area and introducing Setouchi’s charm to the world with the theme of “Sea Revival”.
This is named - the Black Sea Bream of Uno/Child Chinu- the Black Sea Bream of Uno
Created from empty cans, PET bottles, and cast-offs collected from households, the Chinu (blackhead sea bream) was installed for the first edition of the Triennale. As in the previous event, the sculpture has been reborn for this edition by retouching the colors and replacing components that have been weathered by the sea breeze.
