Glastonbury Tor is a hill near Glastonbury in the English county of Somerset, topped by the roofless St Michael's Tower, a Grade I listed building. The entire site is managed by the National Trust and has been designated a scheduled monument. The Tor is mentioned in Celtic mythology, particularly in myths linked to King Arthur, and has several other enduring mythological and spiritual associations. [Wiki]

I was simply mesmerized by the early morning light coming through the windows of this very small stone chapel, which was built in 1935 and is still used for worships and weddings these days. The decor is simple, but charming. It's almost like an exquisite piece of oil painting in my eyes.

Lyon-Saint-Exupéry TGV railway station building, Colombier-Saugnieu, May 28, 2019

I captured this photo at a Post Office with rows of mailboxes with a red strip run along the top. I used a concave mirror to wrap the scene including the red strip into a seemingly shape of a heart. Rows of mailboxes also wrap into circles surrounding the red heart symbol. Each mailbox in this photo could be a person a family regardless of color of the skin, gender, or ethnic origin. My abstract photography is a mean for me to capture a moment that express and evoke a deeper feeling. In this photo, I utilized my imagination with creativity via my camera mirror, lighting and some post processing tools to construct images with lines, colors, textures, shapes that are both real, surreal with the love abstraction content.
The love we may experience everyday could be between a man and a woman. Love also can be expressed between a person to friends, neighbors, mankind or even nature as in “Circle of Love”. The basic human instinct of love comes from our own inner emotion; It is a true powerful force to overcome human barrier.

Photographing the architecture in Venice was always in my top to do list. This summer the opportunity came. Booking in advance gave me some good deals. As most of the famous places; crowd is always a problem for architecture photographers. If you want to photograph the people; it is much different. But getting a beautiful architecture without too many people running in front of your lens is much more cumbersome to achieve. There are some ways off course. One of them is go out early. So in Venice I did exactly that. Started as early as 2AM and some days like this; I was out whole night.
Now regarding the picture; it is a two image composite one for the moon and one for the architecture. The moon shot was taken earlier and then I waited for the people to disappear to capture the architecture. The moon was captured with 27 70 as otherwise it looks too small in the frame with a 24MM lens. The idea was to create something surreal. So needed a larger moon.

Have a nice weekend.
Hope you will enjoy the picture.

We spent the weekend in a nice historical hotel on Lago Maggiore (Lake Maggiore) in northern Italy. The Grand Hotel Majestic was built in 1870 in a classic Italian style, all golden and red. The service and food was excellent. Inspired by Stanley Kubrick's iconic one-point perspective, I took this shot of the stairways.
Can you guess how I took this shot?
I processed a balanced HDR photo from a RAW exposures, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
