I use to pass this truck daily. It became like an old friend until one day civilization paid the right price to claim that land, and the old truck was no more. 😢 This is a pic of a pic being an old image, but a memory worth preserving.
Lantern-like animals surrounded the lake in the Carlton Gardens. They were created by The Lanternist (duo Tyson Savanah and Evie Wittingslow) who have a combined skill set of industrial design, illustration, styling and production. The Lanternist blends traditional lantern design, sculpture and illustration to create luminous pieces of art.

The sculpture "Non-Violence" by the noted Swedish sculptor Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd, is a gift of the Government of Luxembourg to the United Nations and stands on a platform near the public entrance of the United Nations complex. The sculpture is a large replica of a .45 calibre revolver with a twisted barrel, to symbolize peace and non-violence.
