The Mathematical Bridge is the popular name of a wooden footbridge in central Cambridge, bridging the River Cam, and connecting two parts of Queens' College. Its official name is the Wooden Bridge. Grade II listed.
Designed by William Etheridge and built by James Essex in 1749. It was rebuilt twice, in 1866 and 1905.
Although it appears arched, it's made entirely from straight timbers configured in tangent and radial trussing.

I still can't believe I was able to take this picture! For me it is the most beautiful I have ever shot, it will be the fact that it took me more than 6 hours waiting for the night and taking more than 500 photos. What do you think, opinions / advice?
Photo taken in Rotterdam during my trip to the netherlands, more images in the next few days.

While strolling through the long and dark passages, I turn around and I was enchanted by this view. Like I got lost in the dark distance. Due to the horrible things happend there, this felt like magic.
Fort Eben-Emael is an inactive Belgian fortress located between Liège and Maastricht, on the Belgian-Dutch border, outside the village of Ében-Émael. It was designed to defend Belgium from a German attack across the narrow belt of Dutch territory in the region. Constructed in 1931–1935, it was reputed to be impregnable and at the time, the largest in the world. The fort was neutralized by glider-borne German troops (85 men) on 10 May 1940 during the WW2. The action cleared the way for German ground forces to enter Belgium, unhindered by fire from Eben-Emael. Still the property of the Belgian Army, the fort has been preserved.

Having a camera with me is learning to freeze time, hold it and save it to recreate those moments in the future. I am not an expert in photography but the photos that I have taken and kept are evidence of the things that caught my attention at the moment and I have learned a lot from them when searching for information on the internet. This camera was my first full frame camera and I have been on the verge of selling it several times but I am still attached to it even though I barely use it. Several people have asked me why I don't have a style or preference when it comes to taking photos. 😕 I don't have it, my photos are handheld and without a tripod of what I see at the moment or based on my creativity when doing macro/close up photography at home, because the macro lens is my favorite. I am not an expert in landscapes and I admire those who photograph them.
Today I have my mirrorless Canon EOS R and never disappoints me!
