Roaming the streets of Amsterdam, when Kenny and I had the same idea. He beat me to it because I was fiddling with my camera. :)

The "Baths of Lady María de Padilla" are rainwater tanks beneath the Patio del Crucero. The tanks are named after María de Padilla, the mistress of Peter the Cruel.

Wormhole (Star trek)

A car show I came upon unexpectedly

This was taken at Sea-Tac International Airport in the Terminal Shuttle/Subway. I took a few test shots prior to set the proper exposure before hand and used the dash to steady the camera during the long exposure. The trip between the different Terminals is ~ a minute or two so I was able to shoot of a handful during the different turns and straightaways in the Tunnel. I have one other that I really like (from a straightaway) but this one was my favorite. I didn't have a CPL on my lens but would recommend it for anyone wanting to try this shot as there was a lot of reflections that I had to work out in post. I have seen these type of shots before but never had my camera ready for one. The 6 P's come to mind on this one -> Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance. I knew what I wanted to take, I set it up before hand and I was ready to go.

From my "Dark Matter" project

I captured this star trail image by centering on Polaris, letting the sky spin around the North Star for several hours. The camera ran on 20-second exposures (f/2.8, 20mm, ISO 1600), stacking over 600 frames above The Wormhole in White Pocket, Arizona.

After setting up during blue hour, I hiked back to camp to hang out with fellow photographers while the camera did its thing. When I returned under a dark, moonless sky, the landscape had transformed. Every sandstone formation looked the same, and I started to feel completely turned around—until I spotted an abandoned rubber insole that somehow led me right back to my tripod.

One strange trail marker, one lucky break, and one unforgettable night under the stars.

Couldn't resist playing around with Fractalius on my previous upload. There were several iterations that I liked but this is the result that best captures the form and color I was looking for.

Will it take us where we want to be?

Will it show us what we want to see?

I tried processing this shot several times and I think I finally got it.

This is two sections of a pool noodle, that were given to each of my kids in a music kit. You rub the pieces together to make a scratching noise. At the bottom is my daughter's space themed mouse pad.

On route to the Blue Agave Anomaly to deliver supplies to the Hullbull RST. This is a rare wormhole phenomenon that appeared for a very short period of time. Calculations put the hyperspace jump into the Scutum Centaurus Arm of the Milky Way galaxy, only days from the BAA. The frame was captured from the SpaceChaser upper monitor (SCUM) on the fore deck seconds before plunging into the rapidly shifting anomaly.

A wormhole is a theoretical passage through space-time that could create shortcuts for long journeys across the universe. Wormholes are predicted by the theory of general relativity but are unproven.
