Or is it just the chandelier of my favrourite cinema?

Jumping out of the sky

Eager

Filled with love

Smiling

Knowing that he is deeply loved by the ones waiting for him to come home

You found a wormhole Mark

But it is the wrong one, you need to find another one

500 kilometers more south, thank you

Don't you take another wrong wormhole and end up in China now then......

Smartest to take a plane, I'll fetch you at the airport

I'm waiting patiently

The most important is that you are just some few hours away to be on your way to us,

Aiko and me

And my family

Which has become your familiy

Utterly übercool

This strange phenomena was witnessed by hundred's of people on a beach one late afternoon in Jamaica. BEWARE, THE ALIENS ARE COMING !! ;-)) 📡

I'm such a hypocrite. I complain about how many people they herd through Antelope Canyon...then I go there. I say that there are too many pictures of the place...then I post more. The thing is, I drive right next to the stupid thing whenever I drive up Route 89 towards Utah (which is often) and it's just such an amazing place.

Sometimes the abstract comes to me...and other times I go to the abstract.

A glass of wine, a thought or two...once again, I thought of you.

I was in the garage again (think man cave) having a glass of wine and then I thought to take a photo into the bottom of the glass. Everyone does that! But, I did it anyway. And here is the result. Enlarge and explore a little...

I chose this music to go with the image:

Thank you to everyone who visits, faves, and comments.

This has become a huge attraction in recent years due to it being a location for the Red Bull Cliff diving series. It is a natural rectangular shaped pool into which the sea ebbs and flow at the bottom of the cliffs south of Dún Aonghasa on Inis Mór. Aran Islands

There's the sound of a sudden intake of air and a bright flash of light as a wormhole opens up in the empty space in front of K'tui -- then, Hatari and Nix come hurtling through it and into his world.

It is difficult to represent Hadid's Dongdaemun Design Plaza in images. Too many spectacular views. Focusing on details seems to be more impressive. This shot gives context to my photo from yesterday which I consider to be more interesting.

Somewhere in our universe, on a strange, insignificant planet, a foreboding, semi-translucent black monolith flickers like a ghost stuck between two worlds. In the distance, a looming planet, partially illuminated by a nearby star, takes on the sinister appearance of a crazed grin, as if anticipating what you are about to discover. Step a little closer to the monolith for a better look, and you realize it is not a solid piece of material, but rather, an eerie doorway, or portal, to another dimension--a galactic wonderland where reality is bizarre beyond your wildest imaginations. Incidentally, a sentient being crossing over the opposite way, from the other dimension to ours, thinks the exact same thing about our apparently "normal" universe.

Perhaps Life is much stranger than we thought...

A Slinky toy and its reflection. The frame represents a span of six-inches across.

I generally like to take a photo of any given subject matter and move on. Occasionally I will take a second image if the subject matter is particularly engaging. But this is the first time I have taken no less that four images of something. This Slinky toy really surprised me and captured my attention and muse for an entire week of shooting; just when I thought I captured every conceivable angle, something else about it would inspire me. This is the last in the series. The other three images are below:

To visit the Street Museum (check out the previous post for its history, also that of the NDSM wharf), there is the entrance. But there’s an alternate way to leave the museum, courtesy of Astro. Though this wormhole will not only take you outside but also to another dimension ;-)

"‘Perpetual lozenge’ (2017) by French street artist Astro is shown here. He was born in 1991. Astro’s trademark style is a fusion of calligraphy and dynamic shapes. His optical artwork plays with shadow, light and perspective. Here, the illusion of a portal invites the viewer to enter and explore its depth. Astro states about this work: “I want my work to create an illusion. You should be able to get lost in it, to feel like you’re being sucked into it”".

This is number 30 of the NDSM album and of 78 Graffiti/Street art.

I went out for an evening walk in the Lincolnshire countryside this evening. It was a glorious evening, however, I couldn't get in the right place at the right time to get any nice sunset shots, however, I did have a bit of fun wirling and twirling in the woods - just glad no one was watching!

Happy Window Wednesday!

Hard to believe but this tidal pool on Inis Mor, the Wormhole, is completely natural.

Yesterday I was playing with the waterdrop valve trying to get a waterdrop ‘spike’. That’s all about timing of the flashes. This one was definitely mistimed but it resulted in some sort of wormhole that I do like anyway. Still working on that high spike colliding with the second drop.

Thanks for all your faves and comments everyone!

I really appreciate them!

This was part of the walk to the Wormhole. You can just see the ancient fort Dun Aonghasa on the horizon, on the next set of cliffs. This part of the walk was easy - from here it involved clambering across a plateau of limestone and then along the front of the cliffs in the previous picture.

The boring functional description is that this is a pedestrian and bike tunnel under the South Eastern Freeway - the main road artery out of Adelaide - at Mount Barker in South Australia.

But surely it is a work of art and clearly a wormhole in the time-space continuum.
