my heart goes out to the children in third world countries who
may or may not have the proper tools to fight it.

Without antiretroviral treatment, 60-75% of children with HIV die before the age of five years. With effective antiretroviral treatment, this figure can be reduced below 20%.

1st December 2011 - I realise that a teddy was my motif already on Tuesday, however this little bear become my friend today on World Aids day in support of the Zurich Lighthouse Hospice.
Isnht he cute with his gray fur hood (?), sitting on my laptop and watching me typing this comment,
P1110313_Ribbon - Ok so I have broken my own rule, if Elton John can publish a newspaper. I reckoned a little rule bending was ok to assist in raising awareness.
It's not something that my age group fully understand, pretty sure this applies to many in all age groups. I'll admit that I still do not fully understand the entire issue, but like oil slicks and other man made disasters or self destruction this one is certainly in the top ten of human kinds hit list.

When my neighbor and mate Jack asked me to give him a hand to do the photography for an event he was organizing on the World's Aids day, I couldn't refuse.(Gabriel mate, wherever place in the sky you are, I send u a smile). Wearzulu is Jack's brand, but on this opportunity we didn't focus on it, it would have been a bad choice; instead, he organized a free morning give away condoms event in London. At 8:30 am on a freezing day, we were at Oxford Street Station, emblematic heart of London, giving away those nice gift bags containing a condom. Good vibe, good spirit and good moment for people to stop for some seconds during their rash time trip and think about the World's Aids day; perhaps reflect on it and maybe remember all those who already passed away, those who still fight the virus and remember to take care of yourself and fight the stigma.
