colour is quite off, it's more of a light sea green... doing some sort of "moss diamond" stitch from a book, can't see too much of the pattern here. the yarn is a merino/alpaca/angora blend found at a thrift shop and looooovely, can't wait to wear it!
getting started on finishing off a new one...paper on metal. this one has particular meaning, it's for my cousin, I laid it several months ago --- inadvertently, unconsciously --- while on the phone with her talking about the return of her mom's cancer after 11 years. And how you can possibly deal with the notion of losing your parent, the inevitability of loss and the gift of being close and seen for who you are by a parent. this is what I had when we hung up. surprised the heck outta me! :)
my current progress on the next step of my "enemies of virtue", three titans to loom over 'em. I don't really know what to do for the arms, not exactlythe best design and the hahli inika masks are only held on by the pin friction for the bohrok face plate. As for the head, I haven't the faintest as to what I'm going to do for that. don't get me started on the feet.
the part I for sure am going to keep is the thighs, waist, an lower torso, if i fiddle with that much its only going to get worse.
Started the front end of the Land Cruiser 80 project. Still waiting for enough money to get 3rd party tires.
This is the "teabag" bag part. I have been stumped on a way to sew this so that it looks like a teabag when it's done. The small pouch is a tea tag and I have to attach both with a handle. At first I was going to do a drawstring bag but I want the teabag to have a real teabag shape with the top corners folded in.

Built turrets and missile pods (figured out how to mount the pods just after this photo). The main hull is pretty well blocked out and I added the domes and some detail/greebling.

Only a little bit more done...ive ripped it off so many times ive lost count!!! Think im being extra fussy with it being of family , you know the need to have it just so! :)
