Using small onyx squares, broken down (hammered, hehehehe) pieces of light granite and dark, imperador cafe marble. Had a blast breaking the whole tiles into pieces, because that's the way I like it.The surface is an old, recycled and free bench, on wrought iron legs and base, stripped of the cushion and padding. The board is super strong and perfect to put mosaic on it.
I made a general sketch, but altered it a little, when I 'drew' with the silicone gun.
Great to do, while watching tv, that's why my papers and some other stash is visible in the pic.

NO IDEA HOW TO FINISH IT ....probably never ...
Outer frame WIP. It took a while to get the angle 100% correct and it gets more flimsy the farther back you go. I'm not thinking I have the time play with structural I am expecting too see with this and be able to finish before the end of the month, and thats not mentioning I am not sure that I even have enough plate to cover all that area.
Got my paws on a Wraithlord kit and was browsing through all the nice ones that other people did on the net and I was thinking all those nice pose which should I choose... then I decided I should do all of them... So I decide to articulate my Wraithlord... And this is what makes it fun.

Have been working on this one for quite some time now. Still can't count it finished, but I think I finally got the scale right. The legs are courtesy of Matt H.
I am now going to have my WIP pictures taken on this here desktop, to make it seem more obvious its a work in progress.
I was able to use some of the leftover trans-clear plates for the windscreen of this build. A lot of things need to be adjusted, and I will need to make bricklink orders for the parts I need soon!
The Leicester Longlocks reroot much further along. This is pretty accurate for color. Left side more complete than right, but length still increasing.
My WIP Pharaoh's Quest display for Brickvention 2012, which is not far away.
The whole thing will be 2x5 of the 32x32 baseplates, including a Sphinx, Spire, small dunes and a temple/shrine to come.
#wip of my #zbrush #head #3Dmodel. A lot of problems fixed. Refining the underlying #muscle #structure before the #fun #detail #stage.

This ship is now complete.
My WIP SHIP will carry two fighters in its fighter bays. The fighters are more or less complete, but I'll probably tweak them a bit. I would appreciate any suggestions/comments.
still need to gloss her lips but slowly and surely she is starting to take shape
have to wait for her body to arrive and all the other bits and bobs i have been hunting for
I've been wanting to make a ripple blanket forever, but still haven't learned to crochet, so when I saw this pattern for a knitted wave blanket, I knew I had to make it. I had a lot of leftover yarn from the log cabin blanket, so this is all stash. Not looking forward to weaving all those ends in...
Tenho andado quietinha aqui no atelier, trabalhando prá caramba
... só fazendo a 'dança das cores'... : D
E outras Artes... .. e novas técnicas... ; )
Pq inovar é preciso! rsrs
Okay, so i decided today to start making skins.
I used Eloh Eliot's base and tweaked around.
Lips are 100% my creation. I will tweak the features a great deal!
I just like to have fun while i do so lol.
That's all.
It will take me a long long time for the skins to be ready as i want them. This is just the fun stage where i play around.
Progress has been slower this week thanks to a nasty cold, but I think it is now 95% done. And as a result, my brain decided it would be a great idea to also build a companion frigate/escort ship. Can’t let finishing the last project get in the way of starting the next one! Hopefully I can get them both actually finished before the end of the month.
