Well friends, I will be going North for a few months and will have limited contact. But every once in awhile I will check in and catch up with you.
I enjoy all of your photos and hope to contribute a few of my own over the next bit of time. I have a late August rendezvous with a Total Solar Eclipse in Idaho and then some travel through Glacier National Park.

Short-eared Owl. The rain had just stopped, the skies were grey and just as i was about to give up I got my closest perched sighting of this great Owl.

Attempting to capture these drops of water resulted in over 100 photographs. When returning to some of the better images, I found myself imaging what they were saying to each other on their downward fall. "I get up, I fall down, all the while I am dancing."
